Michael Jackson was the best talent this world has ever known and will never know. He was the most hearted and humbled person, who wanted to use his passion for music to help and heal this world. Some jerk out there made up stories about him, and tried to tear him down, but still, he is and will always be the best, and an example for the world, no matter what you say. He showed the world true talent, and how to use it to send messages of hope for this planet. You're the best MJ !
I was off to work and listening to this, what a really sad day for music in general. Aled really looks shell shocked at this, what a really sad day.....
I was doing a Disco at a Club. It was around 11.30 and We were having a Drink before Packing away. A one of the guys ran In and said that Michael Jackson had been taken to Hospital and It's not looking good. So We waited around and at 12'00 They announced that He had passed away. So we fired up the kit and started to play all of His Music. And People were coming In, In shock of the News. I was also doing a Disco when the News of Princess Diana came through at around the same time and It reminded me of that. I was at the Hospital watching My Daughter being Born as I was walking Home on that Hot Summer 1977 night I had to pass the Rock Box (Rock N Roll) club and they were all outside Crying. And I said what Is the Matter, And they said Elvis had Died this again was at 12.00.
I love how everyone else is being sort of, still respectful but jocular and radio presenterish about it whereas Alid looks like he wants to just cry his eyes out
@Monterey2am your right he wasn't no elvis or john, he was michael.. and he was original in what he did, and he deserves mad respect for getting as far as he did.
The radio 1 days were amazing and so much better then his current radio x show. I really struggle to listen to him now, it just isn't the same without comedy Dave's brilliance and Alled
It depends on the type of show. Sometimes he’s brilliant, other times he can repeat immature things to the point of it becoming grating. Obviously the music on Radio X is different, not sure if that’s part of your reason of not enjoying the overall show, but I think for the main part Moyles is still the best presenter on the radio.
In all the years of hearing the Chris Moyles Show, I never knew what Comedy Dave looked like. I always thought he had a high voice, but now I see what he looks like I notice two things: 1) His voice doesn't suit his looks. 2) He looks like the singer of Radiohead!!
