Nice Dan, I like that you compare it with other bases you have tried throughout the vid. MOZA is for sure making a splash lately.

In the UK you can buy from the distributor Abruzzi and the bundle packages offer better value. R21 base is 1099 + RS Wheel 449 so should be £1548 total but the bundle price is £1339 which makes a big difference. I just hope they sort out their QA issues, especially for the R21 which seems to have a high level of problems for the number sold. I really would like the R21 + RS.

Dan, look at the view over your shoulder where you're turning and you can also see the Hand and Wheel on screen turning. The hands and wheel are massive compared to yours. I say this because I feel like the Camera Distance in ACC is way off. For instance, in the 488 Evo, you would have to move back to at least -7 or more for it to look right. You're the only streamer that seems as OCD as I am, I thought you might have some input with what the hell is going on with thr ACC camera 😆🧐

Thanks Dan, I was looking at this base or the smaller one 9nm. Im currently using the fanatec 2.5 which i love and the 8 nm is enough for me personally. You say its a little weak for you. What amount of FF do you use in Iracing ? Im on 100% of my 2.5 base but only about 4 or 5 in game. So Im thinking this might be to strong for me and maybe I should stick with the 8 or 9 nm. But with this base and its wireless wheel , it allows me to run older games that only allow 2 inputs. So the base is 1 and the pedals would be 2 inputs. the wheel is wireless so no input there. I assume some of the other wireless base would do the same ? Anyway thanks and thanks for helping me with ACC yesterday. I got the dash static now :)

I think the IR ffb comment is unfair, because that's an IR problem with their dinosaur ffb

No side mount possible right? Kinda a bummer as I bought my rig with the side mounts for the DD Pro

I was looking at this VS fanatec, fanatec is $300usd more and you get a stronger wheel that is compatible with more than just PC if you go high end Moza DD *( 15nm )* it’s $1500 Fanatec Podium DD *( 20 or 25nm )* $1799usd, and again with Moza can only be used on PC it’s biggest downfall most players use a PS/PC or PC/XBox or all three, I don’t wanna have to change wheels every time I change platforms to play different games, plus then you gotta have 2 wheels that’s expensive I would rather buy a fanatec and be done with it

The expensive fanatec DDs are not good, I highly recommend Simucube or vrs unless you really need console compatibility.

Yes, when we are talking about cross platform...theres really no talk to be made...is Fanatec all the way! I find that either CSL DD 8nm and Podium DD are now in a very polished level, at least with latest drivers and firmware, and second to no One (don't know if they also made internal changes)...so it's now the market with so many good options, it's just a matter of personal preferences of use, and small details that you probably wouldnt notice when playing. Oh, an important factor... manufacturer history and support! PS - Of course i think that now a mid range product from Fanatec (sort of club sport), and Podium series pedals, are starting to miss, when you see that recent brands like Moza, Simagic... etc, are presenting good products on that range...hope the near future will cover that.

Don't they also charge $200 for the import fees? The r9 looks a nice package, but then you add the import fees and the price doesn't look so good.

Where are you from my guy? If you are in Europe, check out sim-motion, their European store offers Moza R9 at a good price and the shipping fees are VERY decent. I ordered one myself and can't wait for it to arrive. If you are in the US, I think their US shop also has Moza R9s in stock.

It only oscillates when you take your hands of the wheel not sure why would somebody do that while driving, so imo oscillations are fine

How do you like it? Would love to test the R21 ... I think the R16 is great just a little bit too weak for my taste, R21 could be perfect :)
