Thank you so much Alan for your beautiful videos. They are always very professionally done and bring back so many memories of our London to Cape Town trip in our Series IIA. Your time invested in producing them is very much appreciated by my wife and I here in America.

Wow, what a fabulous trio of videos. Thank you for taking us along with you and your family on vacation. I tuned in for the Land Rover content, but got much much more. Us here in Europe can’t fully appreciate just how much of an adventure that trip must’ve been. We’re so used to our vehicles barely leaving the tarmac and being at most an hour from a tow truck to the nearest Land Rover dealership or service centre. But I’m so glad your Discovery made it there and back ok. Ps coolant level sensor malfunction is common and if that’s all that went wrong during the trip - then praise the Lord. Many thanks, Ty.

Thanks for watching so glad you enjoyed it. When I’m not working on Landys I do get a chance to go away on some great trips. They are always an adventure but I do sometimes envy the ease with which you guys can travel. When I got home I put in a new coolant bottle and that was it.

Love that route. We were the 4th or 5th people to sign the visitor book when that border opened. Aquia pesquira campsite is much better for next time. Just an interesting side note, when we first visited that route in a D1 v8, there was no one living in the area at all. We saw tons of game and elephant. Sad to see all the people there now. Also near the T junction at Escola just before you cross the Limpopo, there used to be a old Rhodesian helicopter lying there - well part of one that was shot down during the war in the 70’s. Another great episode thanks for sharing
