I have heard many versions of this piece and sung it in a few choirs and this is absolutely the best rendition I have ever heard. God is with these performers. Bless you all.
I never tire of this. I sang the tenor line at school. I’m now 72 and I still love it. It is so simple. I was surprised to learn it was a late work. Humanity at its peak in adoration. I understand every word. It brings me close to God and Heavan.
It is written: Psalm 92: 1 "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound."
It’s AMAZING how human voices can create such beautiful and heavenly sound. Well done to all the singers and musicians on here and the conductor too, including everyone involved. Glory to our Heavenly Father in the name of our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus! 😇🙏
The ave verum is so beautiful!!! Mozart is fantastic. My parents told me, that this had been a part of their wedding ceremony! So I decided to take it as well!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Love The Latin HymnsLlooking for Shuberts Ave Verum . Thinking its Shubert remindS ME OF MY CONVENT DAYS ...So great to have this beautifull music in these troubled times Ar age 93 it hard to find this beautifull music
Very balanced performance, bringing out the dept of this possibly most beautiful master pierce of choral music ever written in a spectacularly mighty manner. Thank you,
Jestem teraz sam . Ave Verum Corpus to głos którym Amadeusz jest posrednikiem miedzy Bogiem a mną. God to Mozart to me
We are rehearsing this now for a performance next week, and it’s amazing the difference in feeling when you sing your own part (tenor in my case) alone, no matter how accurately in tune, and singing together with the other voice parts. Of course, this is common to most music, but seldom so profoundly as for this piece.
É exatamente o que penso! Quando ouço nos fones.. Nossa! Extraordinario!..
Valeu demais ⚘️⚘️
What an absolutely exquisite masterpiece this is, lifts ones soul up to the heavens every time you hear it. He must’ve had some kind of heavenly vision surely to write such beautiful music
This wonderful music seems to be performed at the end of another work. Would anyone have an idea what is was? This Ave Verum Corpus is the most beautifully heart-warming performance I've ever heard.
@@sarahlou40 Hi Sarah! It would be great to have the entire concert. It looks to be a concert hall in France. If possible, perhaps someone could contact Maestro Chung, but I don't speak or write French.
Myung ...genio.
Lyrics: Ave, ave verum corpus natum de Maria Virgine vere passum, immolatum in cruce pro homine, cujus latus perforatum unda fluxit et sanguine. Esto nobis praegustatum, in mortis examine, in mortis examine. (June 1791) Hail, true body born of the Virgin Mary, Who truly suffered, sacrificed on the Cross for man, Whose pierced side overflowed with water and blood, Be for us a foretaste In the test of death. In the test of death. (June 1791)
Pietà di me. Amen.»
vetlerradio, I reckon maybe this was not exactly meant to be recorded, and let’s face it, you would have a bit of a nightmare with mic-ing this up for a decent recording........
@@kazhilly It's a stream of live concert that normally would sound pretty amazing (coming from Arte Concert), the terrible audio quality problems are due to the way the audio files were compressed by the uploader.
Yes, I also think it is just a little slow.... Have heard this sung by dozens of great choirs, and this is the first one that is to me, just a little slow....
