Yeah but who ever try to sing Ahmad Zahir songs they ruined the whole song...

I disagree, my friend. I feel like every time a new singer sings a song from a legend, it gives that song new life. It brings it back into the consciousness of the people. Not to say that Ahmad Zahir's music has ever died - we all know and love his music -- but each time someone new sings it, it brings it new energy.

Although I have nothing against Ahmad Zaher and I like his songs, but his fame and popularity was only due to the lack of musicians, singers, and technology back then AND due to his father's position in the government. Even right now there are millions of talented people around the world who can literally transform our way of life, but are not given the opportunity and so we are led by those who are less talented and who are GIVEN the opportunity. So, as a matter of fact, anyone could have become that "Legend." I think Saarbon should be the ONLY legend amongst Afghanistani singers because he started being financially poor and died being poor, but gave us the greatest songs every. Saarbon has my respect.

Peace Dear mate, Mozdah is from Afghanistan hence the softer pronounciation of the sound 'rd'. I have heard Ahmed Zahir pronounce it 'r' instead of 'rd'. It is more to do with the accent of Pashto one speaks. Peace be to you ✔
