Wamuchomba first rejected the 2023 finance bill, perhaps the only MP from Mt Kenya to have done so. Then consistently talked against KK policies. Today she has been vindicated. To me she is a national asset that we should nature. She actually should move out of local to national politics and change Kenya.

As a mother, the pain is too much , 39 children!, I suggest we all assist the parents of the children and the GenZ community to build a private Museum in honour of the fallen children/Heros. A film should also be made from all the recordings.
So Ms Muchomba is one of the very few that is a real servant to the people. Maybe in the future she should be put in positions of the Government, where she actually actively can fix this country.

I salute you Madam Gathoni you were so brave from the beginning, and my sincere condolences to the families of all the fallen HEROS . I pray for their souls to rest in peace . They have written a new chapter for fighting for theirs and our rights from impunity and oppression, i pray and hope for justice for them and their families, there are so many who got injured I wish them too quick recovery and to get justice too. Those who were abducted i pray they return safe and sound . I pray for peace in our beloved country . With this narration i can still hear the gun shot sound in parliament that day and in Githurai it was so in human and nothing should justify the action taken by security administration which took the oath to protect innocent people .

Personally this is one MP who deserves the title of Mheshimiwa because in 2023, 2024 she respected the people of Githunguri by listening and standing with them even if she might have had different opinion about the respective bills. This is the pain certain communities that seek for justice in every election cycle feel, yet they are branded names. If our leaders would shun tribal politics, we can have a great country. The other year, the killings were done in Kondele and Sondu, this time in parliament buildings and Githurai.
Truly painful on both accounts but this is quite different. This isn't a contest between a winning and losing politician, this is the people vs politicians.
