Quick question: I'm making a song and Im purchasing a beat that has options for both mp3 and WAV file format. During the mixing phase, The vocals have been taken care of but, Does it make a noticeable difference in the finished product of this song using mp3 or WAV file for the beat? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Definitely use the .wav file! It's high quality. And after it's mixed, be sure to send off the final mix to mastering as a .wav file as well. Let me know if you need any help mastering!
For almost 99% of your listeners who use their mobiles and laptops, the difference is totally unnoticed, it makes no difference as long as the mixing and mastering is done perfectly, but at good and industry quality studio speaker levels, the difference can be noticed, especially with the bass. Go for the wav file, that's ultimately the best, but if the license is too hefty, choose mp3, for the fact that if it's a great song, people will hear it, cuz 99% hear on their smartphone and headphones, they'll never know, hope this helped.
@@RajeDaMundanaw bro i would NEVER in my life reccomend any artist who wants to take themselves serious to use an MP3 beat. With proper gear you will most definately hear an extremelt drastic difference. That's like saying a fake cheap material Jordan shoe is the same as an Original, which if you know shoes, you know that is obsurd and a complete joke. I hope this helps. DO NOT EVER USE MP3 BEATS, PERIOD. always opt for Wav, doesn't matter if it costs more, always go for quality over quantity. 😁
Always Wav over MP3, not even a debate. The quality difference is uncomparable, sounds are also completely different. Mp3 files get compressed so the sound changes a lot, anyone who has made music and takes themselves serious, can tell you this. I put another comment above. Just choose Wav, no questions asked. MP3 is like comparing a VW beatle to a Ferrari, is there a difference? Ya man and it's more than noticable to anyone with a pair of headphones or decent speakers. Mp3s are like 2d sounds, super flat, and wav is 3d, with space and different areas the sounds and instruments hit... just trust me on this one. ✍️🏼
