Hi there, good comparison, but I do feel like you did miss some things, like; - the mp7 has a big drop in rate of fire when using it full auto - BB capacity for magazines is noteworthy (40 v 50 rounds)! - stroll around mp7 forums, they have a lot of maintenance issues as well, both have a lot of breakable parts that are hard to come by. Just my two cents, both are good choices! Most fun gun I own.
Hi, you're absolutely right, and since recording this video I have looked back on it and felt I wasn't analytical enough and perhaps could have done more in the way of a 'points system' when going over elements of each weapon. Its something I'm working towards for the next vs video - which will come out this month. Thanks for your input, and for supporting the channel - It's stuff like this that can help me to make the channel better. 👍
@@soloruud My MP7 doesn't have a drop in RoF in full auto. In fact I've never even heard of this issue before (or possibly I don't remember it). I can do a full magdump in a cold night without problems. What everyone is saying is that the nozzle will break, so I bought a wii alu nozzle shortly after the MP7 itself, but no breakage so far. But one day I'll get an MP9 too, f**** it, why not.
You have a solid button the pushes in one side of the gun and out the other to select fire modes. As opposed to the switch more commonly found on the side of most platforms like the mp7, ar15 etc etc

Speaking of the G&G SMC9's Fire Selector, have you ever had the issue where if you're firing with the Fire Selector set to SEMI Auto very rapidly the fire selector would engage and switch to FULL Auto. Because that was my experience with my first SMC9 I bought a couple of weeks ago, had the shop replaced it with a different SMC9 model, but haven't gotten the chance to stress test the New SMC9 just yet. So wanted to know if it's a common occurrence or did I just get a factory defective SMC9 the first time.
Its plausible. My MP9 has only ever had green, so I couldn't say for sure.. The only argument against that is the frequency of leaky or ill-feeding mags that are reported. You have to assume that a good number of the issues are being reported by people with a good level of knowledge and mechanical sympathy for their equipment.
Start stacking the BB’s on the right side and clean the BB channel. If you have some time on your hands, you can modify the metal feed channel after dissassembling it. That will also help the issue!
I'm pretty sure Negative Airsoft said the mp9 is designed for Japanese duster gas, that has a lower pressure than Green Gas. That's why everyone is getting the "power down" bolt, but if they just used the correct gas they wouldn't need to.
@@marcushillerstrom25 That's the ksc version. The kwa version resists stronger gases. I use propane with silicone and have no problems. I have to add that my mp9 has wiitech metal parts for cqb power.
could the MP9 inaccuracy come from the Power up silencer you are using? Since they are known to make your shots inconsistent and destroy you HU over time, hence the pressure
Perhaps I've worded it incorrectly... I don't think the MP9 is wildly inaccurate - I just found the MP7 to be better when used side bt side. As with a lot of stuff in airsoft, we are talking about small variances that make a difference - in this case when trying to shoot a 14cm target at range...but not something that should play much of a roll when trying to hit centre mass of your average opponent.
The problem with the mp9 is its proprietary hop up, which scatters a lot in automatic shooting. There are companies that have created alternative hop ups.
I have an option to buy one second hand (mp9) that is in an good condition and everything has been replaced and has some upgrades for an excellent price Is it worth it? Or is the maintenance very expemsive on a gas gun specifically this replica?
Maintaining the MP9 is no more expensive.. I'd just advise doing it regularly. As for the question of if it's worth it - whatsoever of money are they asking for it?
Ok so im from South Africa so the currency is different😂 Lets just say he is selling it for an amazing price with 2 mags and a scope The gun is in great condition and it will be my 2nd airsoft gun. I am still a youngster so funds are a bit tight So all I want to make sure is that is the gun worth it?
Aarrgghh.. They are great fun.. but, I'd hate to tell you to go for something that might let you down at some point on reliability. If money is tight, but you want something new and fun, I'd go shopping for a nice full auto glock or similar..
