Putting an effect on the program slot is a way to put effects acrossed all keygroups. Unfortunately I will break the bad news of the adsr and filter not being Q link assignable. So no plucks into long chords or variation of an arp over a loop. Keygroup feature on the mpc sounds nice but it's not much more than that. Works better with stagnant sounds with light variation. More or less used to multi layer piano keys over velocities & have the layers triggered from softest to hardest.

Is there a way to loop the sample but still have it hit with its initial attack so for instance I want my 808 to hit as it would normally hit but when it finishes its cycle I then want it to loop at a certain looping point but not getting rid of the initial attack of the sound??
