But why can’t you structure/arrange the beat with that recored audio the same way you can with drum programs , using mute group launches to choose when the audio plays in your sequence and not.. it just constantly plays. i want to arrange the recorded audio in my sequence mutes and have the same live muting and unmuting capabilities for recorded audio that the drum programs and key groups have.
Hi bro. I deleted the recorded audio track in the arrangement window with the eraser. The recorded audio track was deleted from the desired sequence and remained in others.
Odd that you can't play midi notes on the MPC, while recording audio at the same time. I"m sending midi notes to a vocoder, while at the same time singing a part. So as it is, I have to do it in two passes. First I play the midi notes, then switch to the audio tab to record the vocal vocoder part. Is there a work around?
could one use the audio inputs to monitor the incoming synth (being MIDI sequenced by mpc) for a whole song project? one way or another the audio has to be recorded at some point for sure. Is there Latency on audio monitoring? (companies like Roland/Elektron now offer their inputs to have mini-mixer capabilities, etc. would be nice if this was implemented in the MPC Live 2 and other MPC's as well) thanks
So theoretically, I could use the audio track feature to record non-midi instruments and insert it in my beat? Like if I wanted to use a real bass guitar?
Hi. Is it possible to sync start rec to the beginning of bar? It means when I press rec it does not start recording immediately, but instead rec procedure wait until beginning of the next bar.
Hi i'd like to record OST from video games and sample them what cables would you recommend me to purchase if I were to use my laptop / tv as a sound output?
Would a class compliant soundcard like the behringer u-phoria work with the mpc one/mk2/x? I would like to use that one, with an adda 8200 to expand the adat to 8 extra analogue outs . 18in20 outs max. I would like to use the outs with a mixer that has 16 mono channels. Would this work or is there another soundcard that works for what i would like to accomplish? I would just jam, record with an external recorder attached to the mixer (sub) outs, then take the stereo file and pick the best parts. Another great option would be the tascam model 16, wich would allow me to record every sound or part on a separate track on the sd card, then import in live and sequence, but I don´t know if that type of mixer would work without a computer connected directly ro the mpc (and i wouldnt need the soundcard, adda 8200, 16 or more cables, its all in one. Everyones input is much appreciated ;)
Plz can someone answe this ? I want to buy a keyboard that has USB audio recording / interface aswell as midi. This means i can record the keyboard audio onto the grid right. So i have the audio of the keyboard itsellf and the notes on grid ? It also has individual L/R output
@@laustenfound resurrecting an old comment here but it is very easy: When you record the audio, it goes to the sample pool (RAM storage) of your current project. From there you can assign it to a pad in a drum program just like any other sample.
