Great vid dude. MPC one user here been really getting to grips with it over theast 6 months. Some proper hip hop beats made with the MPC one up on my channel if you're bored. Subbed, keep it up!
I can't believe this is one of the only tutorials I've seen thst actually talk about mute groups and copying to get this set up around the 16 pads instead of just switching tracks. This makes so much more sense to me than changing tracks. Thanks.
Clear as a bell .. quite the beast .. lots of color .. your videos are always so easy to follow .. full of valuable content .. another great one .. thanks !
SUCH a clear explanation for mute groups and side chain compression. I had just started to figure out the mute groups through my own messing around on the MPC One, but this will save me so much time in exploring more sample flips. Please keep up the MPC One content, love it!
Wow!! I just purchased a MPC One and it’s overwhelming sometimes. I just learned so much from this one video. Thanks for the great content keep it coming!! Lalal is absolutely amazing. Very convenient tool for sample making! I will definitely be using this tool. Thanks again 🙏.
I'm 10 seconds into the video, but every time I've caught a glimpse of that MPC, I couldn't tell if it was a skinned MPC One or a modded MPC1000 (from the various IG posts where I couldn't see the screen). You should definitely promote wherever/whoever sells those wooden ears, colored pads and skin. Looks good and definitely fits your style. I had the MPC One when it launched and flipped it for an Octatrack but I think an MPC Live II Retro Edition may be in my future. These MPC vids are great and your finger drumming tutorials on the SP-404 are even better, it helped me out on my 404A big time! Now I wish I had the pads of an MPC to finger drum on vs the upgraded fat pads on my SP-404A
Thanks for Lalal link. I drop a song from itunes & it worked way better than I thought it would. I just got the Akai Force, so now with this ability to make acapellas I'm gonna be busy for a while. Peace
Great vid! I think there’s a faster way to to add the additional rows… forgive me for trying to explain without my MPC close by, but “I believe” in the convert page you can bounce all your slices to your bin at once as new samples and just load. Also I can’t wait to check out that sponsor… if that works as advertised I’m going to have to re open a couple of old flips that I abandoned due lack of acapella… or “lackapella” if you will =P (feel free to steal that line for future ads)

@@LiamKillen So I have been searching Splice for a few days now and that hook you have chopped up is nowhere to be found.I mean it sounds like a Motown hook. Can't find it though.
Hello Liam and thanks for your contents! Just a question i dont find answer on the net: why headphone volume is so high comparing to rear main out? Using jbl104bt (8ohm) as audio monitor i have to increase volume knob to listen at decent volume, but headphone (aiaiai tma2 studio 32ohm) became unusable because the excessive volume…there is a solution? Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge ;)!
I looked for the sample (pl_bbernb_kit_4_south_African_voice_effects_12) you used in the Video on splice but unfortunately I couldn't find anything. Can you tell me which collection the sample is from?
Yeah those are called mute groups which i'm pretty sure I touch on in this video - if not there's plenty of other resources about the topic here on RU-vid
