Master of Public Health (MPH) in USA is a routinely opted course by foreign students who wants to move to USA ans also to improve.their resume to get a better chance to get selected in DDS programs. In this podcast with Dr Sumedha Javalikar, Dr Suresh Shenvi we are discussing about the process, requirements, earning prospectus after doing MPH in USA. Dr Sumedha has explained all the important points which one should know before applying for the MPH programs in USA after BDS in India.

I am MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics by profession. I think it should be noted that if you want to work after completing your MPH course in the US after you are done with it, the job search is very hard and you have just 1 year to secure one. If you're a US citizen, it won't be difficult for you to search for jobs. I was searching for this route for myself and a Pediatric Professor in the US, recommended me not to unless I just choose to secure the degree and go back home. MPH job hunt is really not a piece of cake.

This is such a great video. I'm planning on pursuing a career in mph in usa but I keep reading about how companies won't offer you positions because of your visa. Is it because of the course MPH or does this apply to all fields and you just have to work diligently to secure a job like you would in India.

MPH & MHA quite hard to get jobs after degree cos 90% jobs are of government sectors & they ask for permanent resident of western countries. If someone isn’t PR or citizen than forget about any job ..

Yes. They convert it to gpa. For mph u dont need very high gpa unless u r applying for a top school

Sir H1B struggle, even if u get one companies are less reluctant to hire u. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Not a STEM approved program. Higher chances to get back to yr home country. Forget about citizenship 😂 it might take 20 yrs/decades.

There are shit opportunities after mph. Noone gives a job to international people due to visa sponsorship. You could be highly intelligent doctor and they would care a hoot.

To get in any masters program in usa like mph/mha/mba does they need 3.0 gpa ie 85% after mbbs from india Does it means in mbbs we need to get 85% which means likely university topper?? Is it so difficult to get acceptes in mha/mph/mba in usa??? Getting 65-70% is also very difficult in mbbs!!!!! Please guide me on this!!!

Indian scores and gpa does.not always match. U may have scored 60% in india but gpa may be higher

Hello sir...thanks a lot for so much nice videos and sharing information on various topics...I would like you to kindly advise me for my few queries...I have done my BDS degree 14 yrs back ...i would like to do any medical course after which i can get a normal job there in USA and see my future with my kids..3 daughters...what are easy courses or courses where I can be an assistant a hygienist or teaching staff...whichever would suit me...but I am not interested in doing DDS program as it is a bit difficult for me now at this age..I want not very complicated and difficult course...can you pls suggest me..it will be a great favour and help...thanks

@@nikitarana1970 well which college ur interested u can mail them Some need mediators like wes Wes doesnt accept bams degree Iqas does but process is really lengthy mainly for canada Icas also does There r some colleges in canada which need direct transcripts and dont require those above
