Great vid. I love the fact that they swivel and fold, which is either / or with a lot of other headphones. I think a woodgrain pattern would've been cool on the earcups. Just returned a pair of Hyperx cloud stingers because the volume is factory set too low. Gonna try these soon, Thanks.
Got these, the older version, not bad. I got a pair or the PAWW Wavesound 3 BT 5 version, most reviews are for older versions but get great reviews. I like them a lot, you should review these, you might find them very good.
I know this is an old video but the Mpow H5 is actually another brand headphone with different software and the Glossy Sticker is to cover up the actual brand. It is actually an Aiwa AW8NCBT minus the headband, the box and software. The actual Aiwa headphone does not beep when you press the volume up or down buttons etc but all the other functions are exactly the same. I wonder which other headphones are a copy or a direct use of another manufacturer design.
Or a Paww or a Monoprice... They are all the same built.... The credits are not for Aiwa.... They just put their own logo on these chinese headphones. The mpow h16 are the same, wir ah different grilll
I got some other Bluetooth headphones (not buds) coming in, curious to see which I prefer at the end of this. One is an obvious front-runner, but maybe a bit impractical... But maybe that's why I'm excited for it.
I have a pair and they're great. Mpow must've watched your video because they moved the logo and made it much smaller and it only beebs when the volume maxes out.
I really enjoyed your review of the H5 model. However I actually purchased the H3 and I can never find any reviews on RU-vid about it. I’m a blind individual but I think just based on what you’re saying and other reviews I’ve listen to and read they look about the same. What do you think?
I just looked them up, and yeah, the H3 looks pretty similar. Similar features, including folding and noise cancellation, and similar price. Some of these companies confuse me with the large number of overlapping products they produce. There's also and H8, and it's not clear to me why someone would choose one unit over the others. There are visual differences, so maybe it's just for different aesthetic tastes?
Super* Review I have the h8 and h5 I like them both I had the h8 first the h8 has mat black and a smaller logo my opinion I broke the h8 but still broken the h8 we’re really comfortable but it has lower range I think that it was more comfy but the acn broke on the h8 before the hinge the acn would cancel the sound but set one ear quieter or louder so I had to switch it back and forth to fixit eh so I think h8 is more gaming and h5 is mor multiple purposes. That was a ramble
I got them and the bass is pretty good. I'm not a bass head or anything. But for me the bass is good for this price range. In other words, compared to a 500 dollar pair of high end cans...they would suck. But hey, I paid 31 bucks for them, so, for listening to TV in bedroom, they good. Crossroads by Cream ... Go with better ones.
Seems all reviews skip what Codecs are supported. On my S9 I can set any Codec and these seem to support all settings. My other sets only supported SBC except the PAWW Wavesound 3, which supported Aptx low latency. I like them both. I would think you would like the Wavesound 3.
I got these to enhance my husband's ability to hear all that whispering so often in modern programs without blasting out the neighborhood. Is there a way that he could be connected but I could still hear or is it necessary for both of us to have a set.
Something like this product might work for you: amzn.to/2BQTCUM Depending on how you have your TV set up, you could run audio from your cable box (or DVD player or whatever) into this box, and then connect this box to your TV. And based on some of the answers in the Q&A, I think it would support sending audio to your TV as well as Bluetooth at the same time. An alternate setup, if everything connects to your TV and your TV connects to a sound system: Put this box in between your TV and the sound system.
@@SuperReview yeah, Amazon in Australia isn't cheap unless there's a promotion. I think it's because there just aren't as many suppliers so no competition. I did find it in ebay at a comparable price to what you quoted though.
LOL, very specific use case. I'll have to try some WWE next time I'm testing. You might be better off with an in-ear headphone as they block out all noises. Active noise canceling headphones like this are best for pattern-based, low-frequency sounds, like a clothes dryer or airplane. Not sure how good they are at muting Rowdy Roddy Piper.
Just threw my cowin e7 in the trash...sound aint that good and hadto send it back head adjust came apart for me the cowin 7 was money thrown away...good luck.
Sound wise, these headphones are good for the price. If you have a bigger head, avoid them. They will cause much discomfort. ANC doesn't exist. It's just a bass boost. Also, they are extremely sensitive to shaking. Every bump in the road will cause sound interference. Colleague of mine bought Mixcder E9 for the same price on Aliexpress. They are much better than H5. I bought H5 as a backup for my Sony wh1000xm3. I didn't want to carry Sony's with me every day. I was wrong. So I bought Edifier's w860NB instead.
I bought some cheap bluetooth headphones on ebay about 3 days ago and they where excruciatingly painful. They made the side of my skull throb in pain for days after I wore them and only wore them for 5 hours not constantly because they would hurt after about 2 minutes. I just returned them a few hours ago and where looking for new ones. Do you recommend these and what are the downfalls?
Yeah I recommend them, I gave them 5 stars 👍 As for the pain, sounds like the clamping pressure is an issue. If it happens with your next pair of headphones, try behind the headband outward a bit, it can reduce the clamp from the headphones.
@@SuperReview Okay no problem. Been on a 3 day expedition to find some good cheap bluetooth headphones so I didnt break them by tugging to hard on the cord and I guess im sold. Thank you.
I got these headphones, I really love them but I just put them on and it connected but it doesn’t play my music or anything, I just hear like a do re mi kind of clicking sound and then a few beeps and not sure what that means but it sucks ;(
@@SuperReview thanks. Contemplating on whether to get these or the Edifier W830. Although the Edifiers sell for around 70-80 USD. Hope you could review them soon
@@SuperReview Interesting, thanks. I wonder if the worse ANC and flimsy build are worth it though... Granted, one can buy several of these for the price of a single XM3.
I need a good comfortable headphone to use it for a long period straight and also use it at the gym, which headphone do you recommend? Mpow H5 , the TaoTronics , Avantree ANC032 or any other you know?
They're comfortable for long periods (if you don't wear glasses) and light enough I think they would stay put at the gym. But I dunno if an over-ear headphone is a good match for a gym, could get pretty sweaty. Have you considered in-ear style?
Ha ha, no, the tightness hasn't bothered me. Have you tried stretching out the headband? Usually you can fully extend the headband and then bend it outward in the middle to reduce pressure. Be careful, and try it in small steps.
@@SuperReview did the quality downgrade over time? I wanna buy the X4.0 which I heard were very similar to the h5's. So like would you recommend me to buy these?
A little different, yeah? For critical listening, I'd personally prefer T2. The H5 is a bit more traditionally tuned, with more V-shape to the sound, more bass, a highs a bit emphasized. And some loss in resolution from Bluetooth.
Damn, beeps when changing volume is a real no no. Chinese brands keep doing small annoying screwups like this one or like adding a led that blinks while the headphones are on I mean, wtf.
What about connecting the head-jack to the controller, does the mic work and others can hear you? I have an older version and it did not work for me, so I was wondering.@@SuperReview
There has been an influx of Chinese ANC headphones over the past few years. Ausdom ANC8 vs Mpow H5 vs TaoTronics TT-BH22. From what I have gathered from comments on Amazon and Taobao, they are all great value-for-money ANC headphones.
Thanks for the info! I just listened to headphones my friend maryjane diamond designs herself. Shes from Spokane, WA. Brand name is dblabs omega. The sound is so crisp and clean and cancels noise super well! They're very impressive.
@@SuperReview i think 4 times more noise cancelling than either most noise cancelling headphones, or four times more noise cancelling than normal headphones.
