After Saturday March 6th, 1993, then comes Sunday March 7th, 1993 where The Barney & Friends Family Marathon premieres to fund children's programming as part of the March 1993 Membership Pledge Drive for many PBS stations including my own station: KPBS San Diego!! After All, You Make it Happen with your Support!!

The announcer doing the signoff for Maryland Public Television is Alec Webb, the station's longtime voice.

Thanks so much for posting. I love going through RU-vid looking for classic TV sign offs. I, too, have fond memories of Star Hustler and the sign off of my local PBS station (WSKG in Binghamton, New York). Seeing/hearing some of those MPT promos, I had a question which I thought maybe someone could answer. Who is the main MPT voiceover guy in the promos? Here in NY, we got to see several MPT productions such as Wall Street Week, Farm Day, and AM Weather, and all of the credits for those shows were voiced by this same man. Is he still doing voice work for MPT? Just curious. It would be cool to put a name with the voice.
