I respect her. She had a dream and she went out there and made it happen at her young age. She is her own boss and she is claiming her space in the “infotainment” space not just taking pictures of luxury items and fancy holidays and fancy outings like everyone else. I take my hat off to her. Those who mentioned the inconveniences I am sure she took note of them and she will work on them so that the next time she hosts an event she has her ducks in a row. Let’s give her her flowers and learn a thing a two from her and stop being armchair critics.
I was at the Fest and this was my first time. I have never been to a festival before Mpoomy's unlimited Fest. You should have seen what I wore on Saturday the day of the Festival😂😂😂 I was clueless, it wasn't really bad but I could have won something more casual. 😂😂😂 Having said that I went with no expectation to the Unlimited Fest, I was there to see how the days unfolds. The first day was half a day, started at 12 and ended around 5, we ate at this event and had goodie bags, some test drove Bentley however I could only be driven around in it, which was fun. The following day was a whole day event and there host did not provide food, however, I was not really interested in food that much as I did not eat anything at the festival. I was too happy to eat.🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿 Oh! Yeah.. I had some attendees say they traveled out to go and find food, I did not know why, I just thought it was their preference 🤞🏿🤞🏿Whilist others were outside eating I was on my seat holding on to it like I am holding to dear life😂😂 The first day (half a day) someone occupied my seat when I went out to take pictures so I would say I had trauma and I was not going to allow the same incident to happen twice so for most of the lunch time I was indoors looking after my seat which was front row baby. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 It's true that we waited outside for the doors to open however, I am not complaining as I used this time to catch up and get to know other attendees which is one of my reasons for going to the Fest, to meet new people from different backgrounds. All in all I have no complaints and that is simply because I didn't know what to expect as this was my first festival however I understands where the complaints about the few food stalls and waiting before doors were open are coming from. I am sure Mpoomy and her team will do better next time. Dj Zinhle was one of the speakers on one of the days and the Lady allowed herself to be vulnerable which I would say is learning something new. It's not something you put in words but rather something you experience and perhaps only those who were there can also attest to this. Connie Ferguson is an all time favorite and to see her was a wow for, seeing Connie was more personal, it reminded me of the dreams I had when I was a little girl. I am a Motswana🇧🇼🇧🇼 born and bread and once when I was young full of Faith and ambition South Africa was a place I dreamt of living in. I wished to make it as big as Connie and Dj Fresh on a foreign land. Kay Yarms shared with us parts of her struggles/challenges and this was to attest that all of this guest speakers and Panna list there are people like us who just put one foot infront of the other. There have not figured it all out. I saw Mathebe for Beauty Untapped, a fully figured women who ozzes confident, I struggled with my weight for most of my life and too see her confidence and experience her Aura was something to taking home with me. The attendees brought their best positive behavior, they were polite the entire time, women sometimes we can have "you can't seat with us" attitude however at this Fest we were one. I mentioned the above so as to say, perhaps we have not learned anything new however the experience was new and yes so of the things that were said we had the before and for those who go to church will know faith comes by hearing and hearing the word if God. Most of the things are not knew under the sun and if people were to say they don't want to repeat what has been said or done then most people will not do anything. One last thing something that is definitely a plus, we have access to the pics they took of us at the Fest, by the professional photographers, that is if you are lucky to have been snapped.
I get bored easily so I probably would’ve lost my seat each day coz I need to move around or else I get agitated fast in a hurry..It’s also great to hear from a person who attended the whole three days.when u spoke about test driving the Bentley I was likeee 😭😭😭😭😲😲😲😲😲😲😲next time I’m definitely coming however now the issue is with food I love love eating so that part for me would have been a very big disappointment 😬😬😬Thanks for taking time to respond and share your experience ❤️
Thank you for this, and I know that people who know and follow Mpoomy have some understanding and patience to what was happening like you did, and i hope she does fix the food situation because some of us like food and definitely want to be at the next Fest❤

It all looks so perfect from the posts. I definitely wouldn’t have expected something like this from her but I do think that she can improve because we’re all human and everyone makes mistakes.

Lalela I didn't watch ths vd till the end as I'm still at work. I'm in d events space. It'd very normal to experience hick ups but cause as an event coordinator you rely on sp for excellent service. I'm sure she can ride on this and rise above this... No one is perfect too many other events r crap but no one says anything cause thy drink alcohol while thy wait
Yall need to take notes from Mpoomy, this girl is a powerhouse 🔥 🔥 🔥 people who arent doing anything significant thrive on negativity, we see right through these clowns on the internet.
Guys lets allow people space to grow and explore spaces without surrounding them with negativity.... I am not necessarily her target market but some of the hate feels uncalled for.. I hope she takes the constructive criticism on board for her future events💫.
Listen I was there! And I can complain too…we had to order from Uber eats and drive out to go get food. Because how do you have 2000 people and only have two vendors…last year we paid almost the same amount, but in that amount at least we had a food included and a goodie bag. But this year, it’s the same amount, yet food is no included, no goodie bag.
There was also 2000 people but we don’t have enough seating for us in the outside area. We probably spent a lot of our time also in lines. Some ladies had to sit by the stairs with their expensive outfits…she really needs to do better. More because even last year we had the same problem. So she really could improve there!
Also when someone has such a event .they do safety checks, sound, lighting,parking, ambulances,police,and food She knew she didn't give url 100% coz profit comes first
Babes last year was a bit disappointing too because there was only one vendor selling food, Nomzamo Mbatha’s arrival I missed because I was standing in the line waiting for to buy food 😢 , I was so hungry… that made me decide not to return for the next one
Why go out of your way to attend a event only for you to hate?. Just don’t attend; simple. The internet is such a vile space shame. Even weddings start late, any event that caters for multiple people has delays. They just wanted something to complain about.
Aaaaiiii it's Confirmed nothing is right with people!! I was at the event and it was mind blowing, sadly I was fasting so I didn't get to experience the food stall. Otherwise I am healed which was the main aim and purpose. Well done Mpoomy Ledwaba, next year Fest25 we going bigger.

I think her intentions were from a good place but the event had some flaws…I suppose the people who paid May feel scammed but she is not a scammer haibo🫣
