I was never a fan of Hogan, but I was all about some Mr America haha. I was super excited when they announced this one, instant pre-order. The only kinda recent examples of this would be the Elias/Ezekiel angle and even the Jarrett/Owen/Blue Blazer gimmick they were doing

Damn solid review! I had no idea they were tapping into a classic territory angle when they did this. I remember being very confused by it, and then the Zach Gowen saga began with Vince and boy it felt like that whole thing just went on forever.

I'll be getting this. Even if you're not the biggest Hogan fan this is just one of those really cool looking figures. Always nice to get a second head with an Elite and this one is more than justified. I could definitely see buying two of these. This is a great gimmick. I think I remember Barry Windham doing as mask gimmick too as the Dirty Yellow Dog. But yes, I'd love a Midnight Rider figure. And we need that heel Hogan in the cape when he was with Freddie Blassie.

Great review Kyle! The first time I seen the mask angle was when Road Dog’s dad Bullet Bob Armstrong did it down south in Continental wrestling. Hogan could have been inspired by that as he admits he stole several things from from Austin Idol back when he was in South Eastern wrestling. I always dig your content!

Vince used back stage footage of hogan taking off mask to prove it was him,showed it on TV,to explain why he was gone from wwf after he was got rid of.will be getting this ASAP,great figure.

These just showed up at my Walmart. 5 months late. Got 1. They also had the Boogyman chase but i'm not a fan of that red head so i left it for someone else .
