I am a British veteran, and whenever the topic of whether females should be allowed as pilots, used to crop up, I always said that if they can do the job then let them. This video backs up everything I have always maintained, even if I was shouted down and ridiculed.
10% of girls are more like guys. 80%+ AREN'T, which is why people haven't agreed with you. MOST women wouldn't make it, but 10% would be well suited to a "man's job".
I knew Don Dwyer way back when Dina was running around the office complex, learning everything she could about the running of a franchise organization. There is so much of Don in Dina that it is kinda scary and that is truly a compliment. My Nickname is a result of having a Rainbow International franchise. Thirty years later and I still have it and proud of it.
What a wonderful Mom and sweet young lady. God bless her and God bless the CEO for recognizing the amazing employee she has and treating her with respect and decency and generosity.
Yea. Any woman WILLING to work is a MAJOR plus, but all the unmarried girls who always complaining are usually unwilling to work and ungrateful REGARDLESS of what they are given. They are not married because they don't DESERVE it.
What a hard working mother ..earning to feed 4 kids. Its just amazing that rewarded to nedded one...what a wonderfull family. literally speaking seeing this made my day.
So many ordinary people give their all for their jobs and don’t get rewarded. They all deserve it… but it’s nice to see someone so deserving be recognized for simply taking pride and caring about her work.
In my experience, at least in my country, TOO MANY just do the minimum, don't give 2 damns about doing things properly, then complain they aren't promoted. It's different in the USA, because you can put in the extra yards and 95% of the time just get left at the bottom.
Never forget that men are more interested in working with things and women tend to be more interested in working with people. Doesn't mean that is the case for everyone but just the majority. Always pursue the career path that interests you the most.
Excellent! So glad to see women helping women, finding ways to build employee loyalty, families, team building, and confidence in the customer base. May your father's memory be for a blessing and may you both continue to prosper! Amen!
I’m the Mr Appliance tech in Ottawa Ontario, I’m stunned they actually cut the temp sensor off to test it! Lol, I always go to the back to access the connector to test. Sensor first thing to check for around 1.1k, but unless able to try different heat data points, it may be the clock timer board.
What an amazing technician. For having 4 kids, she has so much patience in her voice. A lot more then I do that’s for sure. She literally seemed like an angel, I don’t think you could ask for a better employee. I would be so proud if I was the CEO working with her
Hmmm..How did she reconnect that thermostat and did she knock the power off before she cut it?..She has a Fluke multimeter there with the facility to add a thermocouple to test the oven temperature.
I have no idea what these technicians earn, the $10,000 was great to start college education funds for the kids, but that second gift of $25000, imagine if the Technician salary was higher would help on a more permanent basis , probable would not need think about a second job, with the husband working.
In my experience ,very few upper management or executives have the slightest clue how difficult it is to do most jobs the way they think it should be done even if they have no practical experience. it should be a requirement for all upper management do do something like this with some regulatory.
Sorry off topic here...but are those peperoni rolls home made...they looked tasty...and if so...where does this super mom get the time to make them....as far as I am concern...she's a real "Wonder Woman"...a hero to her family.
Love it, gone are the days when I was on the road, and can go home for a bit. Those were the days. Being in the outdoors, meeting people. Fixing stuff. Oh the person who trained me is Bella, she's retired, I should go visit.
You've got to be pretty dense not to suspect something; the amount of camera angles in the homes and waiting for the van to arrive, etc., means there must be quite a big crew following them around. Then there's the obvious wig worn by the Boss. :)
Did she even test the oven for calibration after installing the probe? Inline water filter? Maybe clean the ice maker , cold water slime makes the ice taste mildewy. Parts changers are a big problem in appliance repair . I service commercial appliances for restaurants and they wouldn't tolerate parts changers .
This short You Tube video is understandably an edited version of the episode and ends as they all do; with gifts and offers to certain employees. Although it may not apply to this particular event, a documentary a few years ago exposed how many 'under cover bosses' failed to deliver on the promises they made.
