Omg im hete again.this is perfection. Dedication to dancing fetch it all back.thankyou for sharing this bless you no one can ever match this bless them.xx
I was 15 when this was released, reminds me of friends, the last year at school and happy times! For anyone wondering I am speaking of the music and not the film that this clip is from, I am not that old lol!
Ealing, London. Me and um in a bedsit. Just released from boarding school. Wimpy burgers, Grammar school, Desmond Dekker and Mr. Bloe Ronnie and Reggie
Great instrumental piece which I had detected just a few days earlier after decades of having forgotten it and I was thrilled... Fred and Ginger are wonderful dancers but I would have preferred a 1970s dancing clip... Some gogo girls....
Very often we would have a party at my mates house while his mum was away. Next morning someone would always put this on while we tried to tidy up the wreckage! Lol.
That incredible instrumental was the B-side of a 45 rpm single and the A-side was “Make Believe” and both were performed by the musical group Wind, featuring a young Tony Orlando. It was released in 1970 on the Life label. I’m surprised hardly any of the DJs played “Groovin’ With Mr. Bloe”. It could have been a monster hit. Who played the harmonica and who played the bass?
kiddysoulgirl99 you have an amazing talent of putting old film clips to modern dance songs, this is definitely Fred & Ginger, this looks & sounds wonderful, this song was a big hit here in the UK around 1970 & is a favourite instrumental that I love. You should be in the film business making musicals! Ginger Rogers once said," I did everything fred Astaire did, but backwards!
adore fred astaire be4cause of his dancingskills. he s a true genius, but the music is not my taste, so this is great. seeing him dancing and listen to this great tune. thanks for that.
I saw Ginger Roger doing a 1 women show at the London Palladium.......I don't think she would have minded her dancing skills with Fred Astaire being put to such brilliant use in that film and with that music.
A música leva-me ao ano de 1972, a casa do amigo-irmão Benedito Antonio Luciano, sintonizavamos a BBC de Londres, às quinta-feiras para ouvir o que havia de bom no mundo musical. Estávamos corretos em nosso busca. Grovi´With Mr. Bloe é um clássico....
Man, oh, man!! Kiddysoulchick!!! You didt it... Quizás el más perfecto vídeo de sincronización en todo el jodido Ourtube!! --Kiddysoulgirl (if ya'r'so), you just made smithereens my artwork's list. Whoever you are, wherever you are, you are a damnedest ARTIST!!
la musica especial pero ellos no estan bailando este tema ..... eso lo se muy bien por era de mis años y se como se bailaba . era tipo rock an roll....
