Dude, Charlie’s character was so good in this episode! The Maze is probably the episode I want the most to be continued. I really want to see how they’d actually beat it.
I'm pretty sure you have to die to beat the Maze, and that the Maze is probably some form of limbo, hell, or time loop prison that you have to "pass on" from. Remember, Pills was the only one who escaped and found what he was looking for because he volunteered to die?
@@_The.Queen.In.Pink_ it just seems that everyone is stuck there forever and he is literally in the streams saying u need to do this like because if they actually did they would all be free but because the time loop repeats nonstop they're always stuck poor guy :(
That's what I'm thinking too. At first, my immediate thought was that he was the main antagonist of the episode. Kind of like a "game master" scenario. But the more I listened to his lines, he just sounds desperate. They *need* to succeed. Not just for themselves (though that's what they were thinking) but also for him to be free of the loop.
This video is just Charlie flexing his acting skills. Plus, in this I think he sounds like that one chill teacher who is overly honest and laid-back, but still capable of portraying a condescending tone and getting the students to be quiet. Am I the only one?. I love that SO much lol. Great video!
wait, Mr Cycle said that HE TOO has to keep going back, he has to keep guiding people through the maze, and he said that he'll be your host, not the person who put you in the maze. What if he too is trapped? Forced to watch people die until they manage to beat the maze, and if he tells you where to go then he'll be killed, so he's truly just trying to get out aswell?
I mean I always thought that it *was* Slime. That after so many, many years, he finally restored himself only to learn that Quackity is dead, that everyone is dead, and he's surrounded by a bunch of strangers. I don't know how long into the future "The Maze" was, but when I first saw Charlie, I thought: "Damn, he changed so much."
Can we just take a minute to appreciate how good Charlie is at voice acting His mood changed instantly and even in JRWI he’s crazy good kinda gives me chills tbh 😂
I love how disheveled he gets the further they get through the maze. It's like he's hoping and hoping someone will figure out how to break all of them free and every time they miss something he loses more and more hope. Hats off to you for your art and Mr. Charlie Slimecicle for his amazing acting.
I really do live for Charlie's voice acting at this point. He's so good. The animation went along with his lines so well too, like the expressions are perfect.
Okay so lemme talk for a sec, I know people been talking about ranboo being a time traveler or Tina & tommy but no.. *I think it's Slime-cicle.* Think about what he said in 1:55 and also been here for THOUSANDS OF YEARS, past lifetimes and stuff he forgotten, that's why the only place he knows is a 2 by 1 hole in the ground because that's how he started off. After the reset,after all the memories he used to have that leads to the reason why he says the name of the place that a personis from, because that's the only way he can associate people without forgetting. Only question that I don't know about is, What happened to the funky gunky boi when he met dreamXD?? And if so what life did slimecicle choose..?
I like this theory, in my “mind” (I don’t know how else to put it), there are two main candidates: 1) Slimecicle 2) Eret You already explained Slime, so I’m gonna go for Eret Eret forgot his and foolish’s adventures in the past. Things they together stopped so it didn’t happen again, like that “wither clan”. If Eret is a time traveler, it’d make sense he’d met foolish over and over, foolish is inmortal, after all. Unless he is physically killed, he won’t die of age. They probably stopped meeting after what XD did, and after Eret lost his memories and basically started from scratch. That’s when foolish arrived in the main lands of the DSMP, and they reunited. Except Eret had no clue, and foolish gave up. Foolish also spoke about other things they did together, not only that wither clan. Eret may be inmortal, but it doesn’t make sense how being inmortal=memory loss Wouldn’t foolish or XD forget everything in that logic too? Also, side note, the Many Karl’s which used to be in the in-between were dif. Timeline Karl’s that got stuck there and lost everything. Including their memories, notice how they are no Karl’s in the otherside? Maybe Karl should go for the otherside instead of the in between

I love The casting choice for Mr.Cycle. I also enjoy how even his name is a pun, that also makes sense in terms of the character. It's an endless cycle after all.
my main candidates for the first time travel are defo: 1. Ranboo it's what everyone thought live watching the stream i bet. especially since dreamxd's subtitles turned green and red when he said 'got rid of'. pros, would explain a part of his memory loss. cons, enderwalk wouldn't have a purpose, too many lore points for this mans to keep track of (this guy has to much on his platter to add time traveler) 2. Eret okay but hear me out. they forgot things that they did with foolish and hasn't had much lore aside from the saving of michael. pros, more lore for best king. cons, they did say they wanted to do more casual lore so it might not be them. 3. Slimecicle NOW HERE'S THE KICKER . like he said, "you're going to go back now, like i do." he's canonically over thousands of years old and would have been through plenty of lifetimes without knowing jackshit by the time we see him in las nevadas. pros, slime lore is always good, would make him a scarier character. cons, he's kinda dead/dormant now... so ...

OML OK but when he changes from the relaxed positions to the serious sitting position at 0:49 LIKE that is amazing how you can portray the emotions AND YOU CAN TELL how nervous or surprised or serious he is (i dont know what the emotion is but you get what im saying right?) AND ITS SO GOOD WHAT
I have only spent barely 34 minutes trying to comb through the comments and the video for clues on how to solve the video, but the sound of his voice in slowmode can only sooth me for so long. What clues I found stands alone as it is mocked by those who came before and found what was promised. Oh how my heart aches as it tries again and again only to be met with adversity, my old friend. Whilst my medication slowly seeps in my veins I have searched this masterclass in numerous ways avaible to me. His voice etching further into my very being. I don't think I shall last much longer.

I'd like to imagine that the tales from the smp are different au's (alternative universes),or alternate timelines.and in this one,after charlie died from the palms of punz his soul and or consciousness was transported here.and the reason why he was disappointed was because he knew the people that was in this group.including quackity from Las Nevada.
I swear Charlie did so well in the episode, Idk why but I really loved one of his last lines. "And I don't blame you! I'm just... disappointed..." There's just something about it- The animatic is splendid! :D

Yooo!!! As a BIG big liker for characters that have been played by Slimecicle so far, Mr. Cycle was very easy to get on my list! And you did a great job!! I love your art styles and the way you interpret and convey emotions through what’s essentially vocal hints (Charlie did so good on the voice acting icb) and it’s so!! Nice!! I love this

A possible idea Since Charlie is canonically immortal, that isn't his descendant but actually him. The reason he calls himself Mr. Cicle (or Cycle) is because he's been stuck saying the same thing, watching the same people fail the maze over and over, for so long, that he forgot his own name and instead started referring to himself as Mr. Cicle. You know, because the "cycle" repeats itself every time someone fails? I hope that wasn't too hard to understand ;-;

I started this just looking for some good old dsmp animatics... now I've gone completely down the rabbit hole lol but honestly this is so cool and interesting!!! And the art is amazing!!! If I end up finding out the puzzle I'll probably come back here but for now byeee (update) I think I almost got it I found three pieces to RU-vid url but when I put them together it just goes to some dream SMP animatics but never a specific one I'll keep searching, byeee (second update) so I finally got the url to work but it brought me to videos that was unavailable... either I'm too late to the party lol or there's still something here to solve I might dig around a bit more but if I can't find anything else then I think this might be it lol irregardless major kudos to the Creator because even something like this was so fun to do and so fun trying to figure out (really had me over jodding down notes and crap lmao) really creative and fun on their part as well as the rly art style!!! What if Dr Cycle @(haha get jt? Cycle? Cause it never ends) once ran the maze? At the last part it sounds like he's talking at the group but to himself.Like he has a lot of self hatred for making the same mistake the group did. Also when Pillz asked for Parker Dr Cycle seemed genuinely surprised that he still wanted him. Idk but this theory scratches the itch in my brain
This was really good the animation, and the expressions! But I’m pretty sure his name would be spelled ‘ Cycle ’ and not ‘ Circle ‘ because a circle is like the shape of a ball.
