It’s Chicano G rap. Imo it can be difficult to blow up and become mainstream compared to moreno rappers, cuz the listeners are just mostly Southwest Chicanos, and probably paisa foos from Latin America that like that G sht Like are White people as an example gonna bump Chicano G rolas, or some moreno Chicago drill / moreno rap in the whip? It’s usually Black artists that get the most play or all the play Plus North and South Califas gentle don’t really get along, so it lessens the views as Mr. Criminal is SS music. And I ain’t seen no White, Black, etc. foo bump Chicano G music, so its just pretty much only Raza lol
@@gadagrubi7498 I known about Mr. Criminal since mid or late 2000s, and I'm from Southern California, so you can understand the perspective a bit in Sur Califas What I'm sayin is the only people I ever seen bump Mr. Criminal or Chicano gangsta rap in-general is vast majority Chicanos / Hispanics in the Southwest of the US (lots of Hispanics in the SW, borders Mexico) There's also Northern California, they are Norte and them foos are different from Sureno rappers. Norte don't bump Sureno music AFAIK, and the same goes down South in Califas, nobody really bumps Norte music, so it lessens the plays I have never seen in my life a White, Black, Asian, Indian, etc. blasting Chicano gangsta rap in the whip, windows down, max volume, bass turnt up cruising thru the varrio in Califas. I never seen it. I do know he does have fans in Japan with the Japanese Chicano G crowd, but you ain't gonna really see Japanese ppl in the states bump Chicano G rolas like that lol And Chicano gangsta rap gets little to no play on the radio, or at as least mainstream, the radios don't play them. Like I ain't never heard Mr. Criminal on the radio. In the US, the gangsta rap genre is heavily dominated by Black music
@@gadagrubi7498 Like as an example if you went to a Chicano gangsta rap concert / block party in California I guarantee you the whole crowd is pretty much all Raza, that's vast majority of the listeners and crowd when it comes to Chicano gangsta rap in the Southwest of the US And as an example at Black rap concerts, like say a Too Short concert you could probably see more Raza, Whites, Asians, lotta hood people in-general goin' wild, cuz IMHO Black gangsta rap in the US gets the biggest mainstream crowd and plays when it comes to the Hip-Hop / G genre
