The irony here is , though this is all "modern day" cultural - it's a common theme / moral / value (however you want to describe it in the western sense) in Japanese culture to REFINE to perfection. It's in the daily customs, it's in their cooking, their art, their production of goods and services (i.e. - a great example is how a sword maker/blacksmith would make samurai swords etc..) . The Japanese martial arts etc.. - thus when Peter Dowd mentioned that Mr Jimmy said it took 30 yrs to "know" the Rain Song , THAT is a perfect example of the dedication to perfection that is so common in Japanese culture.

Jimmy sakurai will be the only musical imitator that will go down as a legend

The Japanese are amazing musicians. I lived in Japan for six years and saw this amazing musical talent they had. Mr. Jimmy is a good example of talented they are. His guitar solos are almost spot on with Jimmy Pagee's.

I've seen Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Colin Hay, Guns and Roses, Ministry, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roger Waters, Foo Fighters and Them Crooked Vultures. But the JBLZE concert with Jimmy Sakurai in Melbourne on April 7th was the best concert I've been to. The 7 people I was with agreed completely. The whole crowd was buzzing after the show. We knew it was going to be good but jeez!

Jimmy Sakurai has been performing in the Led Zeppelin tribute band in Japan for 20 years from 1994 to 2014. A special book about Jimmy Page was published in 2000 by a publisher called SHINKO MUSIC in Japan. The content was about playing the guitar. Jimmy Sakurai oversaw the book.　The book also included a DVD played by Jimmy Sakurai.

This is fascinating on so many levels.

The movie was shot without a face in the Jimmy Page stage costume he arranged. The book was sold at Tower Records in America. A member of Led zepagain had it.　Led Zeppelin tribute band guitarists modeled the book. Jimmy Sakurai is a pioneer and has great achievements.

The next night at Sweetwater was blistering! It was the best live show I have ever seen. He actually plays better than Page because he’s not sloppy nor is he drugged out. It was truly amazing and only I front of 200 people at most! Please come back and do the Song Remains the Same Tour this time for 2021/2022 with Jason Bonham….
