Quality factcheckery! There actually is a Lindt 'factory' in Cologne located on an island, but I thought it was funnier to have him repeatedly reminded Lindt is actually Swiss

Aha! Stollwerk had their origins in Cologne and opened a museum on a peninsula on the Rhein dedicated to their history. When the company changed owners, however, the museum was acquired by Lindt and became a museum more generally about chocolate production than about Stollwerk specifically. Clearly they retain the gory fondant fact though, and Chris has remembered the tale being about Mr Lindt instead.

That seems to fit the facts, the "Schokoladenmuseum Köln"!

​@@philipkornstein I found an article confirming this but I can't link it because the comment gets deleted. For me it shows up when I Google "Heinrich Stollwerck death". The title is: AN Stollwerck and the Chocolate Factory, published in 2009 on the website Camden History.

I think I've worked out what's going on: There's a chocolate museum on a peninsula in Cologne, Germany. It was originally associated with the Stollwerck company, but has been partnered with Lindt since 2006, after Stollwerck's new parent company pulled out. It ticks all the boxes, that's probably where Chris went.

The boiler effect was done with a lens correction effect (meant to fix fisheye lens issues) combined with scaling to keep it the right size. I'm quite pleased with it, even though it just looks like one of those bubble effects I haven't actually got.

Considering he works as an archivist, the jump from _clerical_ work to actually playing a _cleric_ isn't a major one.

I just love Will a ton, i love to mime alongside Chris' gag when he mimes fencing, and the most important reason: I frackin love Julie D'Aubigney and cud totes comfort watch anythin about her, let alone the comfort of my main comfort show havin an ep about a main comfort char of mine That last reason is probs the main one, cuz i also love doin the crab claw clackin gag from the first ep too, and love to echolalia along many of the lines in it; but it aint got Julie to push it over the edge

Of course, but if he's right about that detail, he's getting all of the other things confused with another Cologne based chocolatier, Stollwerck. Also, the primary Lindt factory is located in Kilchberg, Zurich canton, just south Zurich city on Lake Zurich.

@@CamstonIsland Okay, I think Ive got the full story. Heinrich Stollwerck was most probably the guy he was thinking about (died 1915 in a boiler explosion at a chocolate factory). But it was the exact same factory building Lindt bought up in the 90s and converted into that museum. So most likely he conflated the current owner with sth he saw on an exhibition. Also about Zurych, I ment there are no island factories/facilities(and the cologne one is very unique in this way)
