Great comment! I think Der Henker was supposed to be the next Bourreau de Béthune, and I wonder why they didn't kept the Bourreau's name and gimmick, it was a great one.
@@risboturbide9396 People weren't stupid, they could see that it wasn't Le Bourreau. The fact he was calling himself a German name suggests he was German and already doing the gimmick back home in the VDB (Verband der Berufsringer- the CWA's predecessor.) Also a bourreau is a guillotine operator whereas a henker is a hangman (literally a "hanger") So they were different types of executioner.
So sad to see the muscle boy Mr Montreal get beat up so easily by this nondescript mask wearing overweight wrestler. What was Mr Montreal's actual name ?
