Hands down one of the best lessons I've ever had. I've always wished someone would walk me through a tune bar by bar like this patiently. Even in person I find teachers don't often teach like this. I feel like I can confidently play the song pretty well after a couple hours and I have almost zero jazz or walking bass background (but have played bass for many years). AND I feel like beyond playing the tune I can apply what I learned to other tunes.

As a guitar player, I really appreciated this lesson. The simplicity in which he approaches harmony is genius to say the least.

Thank you so much. I’ve got my first gig actually walking in the real book (my college big band normally uses arrangements and written out walks). This helped tremendously!

Good stuff as usual Bob. Is the five rep process what you use to memorize walking bass lines? Is there a video on memorization? Thx man!
