This song was recommended. Title is The Truth Untold by BTS. When i heard it, immediately thought of Byeongin so I used it. This is a tribute to Byeongin. I didn't actually watch the episode live cause I fell asleep, I just found out that he died. A lot of people were actually guessing that he will die but I didn't want him to. I want him to find peace and happiness but all he ever wanted was to keep Soyong safe. He already gave up on her when she was happy to go to the palace. But seeing how Soyong tried to kill herself made him change his mind. He was angry at the King who didn't care for her and was in love with another woman. And then he found out that the King actually tried to kill Soyong. Who wouldn't get mad? He's not a perfect character but Soyong was everything to him. He also hates the fact that the King doesn't have power to protect her so he did everything he can to gain power. He's willing to do anything for her. He even made a contract against his clan to keep her safe no matter what. He thought about her until his last breath. I just realized how much he thought of her while editing cause she kept popping up on his scenes. I wish Sobong could have told him more about soyong's love for him. It wasn't romantic but she cared for him too. I guess this was necessary for the plot. They needed someone to sacrifice for Soyong to live. For it to be justified. I just hope this wasn't all in vain and we get a happy ending.
me too, all this while i've been hoping everyone will survive and have a happy ending. it is really heartbreaking to know that he died, sacrificing himself for Soyong. the least we can have now is to have a happy ending for the others. 😭 thanks for the tribute, i love it! 💕

It is the perfect song!! What a tribute. I couldn’t stand him to be honest but he redeemed himself at the end when he became the King’s ally in his attempt to save the Queen. I watched ep 19 without subs so about to watch it again ... performance wise it was brilliant!!!!!! Know I need better details and understanding.
I'm glad some people notice Byeongin real intention. Some just see him being bad without even consider why he did what he did. Whether it's right or wrong, since it just a matter of perspective. In people's eyes King is in the right side, but in ByeongIn's perspective, King is as cruel, because he did what he did/tried to Soyong. No matter how their stories fold, in the end what matter is ByeongIn effort and he did use his all might to protect and defend Soyong within his reach. He was from Kim clan, and he needed power, he can't just come to King asking for alliance when he know King has no power. That's why i wont ever hate him, i just dont like how he grabbed Queen on her neck when he threatened her before the cliff in last episode. That woman is pregnant lol.
My heart so breakdown when see Byeon In 😭 The 19 episode is too sad for me. I don't expect byeon In died, I hope him that he was life although without so yong's love.
Awww I cried when he died. I was glad though that So Young went back to his grave and it showed how much she was really intertwined with Bong cos she remembered everything. It made me realize how it wasn't just Bong the King fell for. It was the real So Young too. Lovely video.
You are one of the first authors who started making videos on Byeong In. So, you're probably partly responsible for how much I've started to love this character. I've watched your clips so many times again and again... words cannot express how painful it was for me to see it. The king and the Queen were not important for me... his friend, his father, had betrayed him... he died protecting the body of the woman he loved. I haven't felt this much pain since the third episode of Star Wars, or since Daenerys ' death... I loved this character too much. I haven't been able to see your work yet, but I just came by to thank you.
You're making me cry ㅠㅠ. I loved byeongin too. Na inwoo, the actor who played his role actually shared that they edited his character for him not to be too good of a character. They needed him to be a potential villain. But his love for soyong never changed. Although I was sad for him but i was satisfied with how they wrapped up his story.
