@@user_2793 Breaking Bad is awesome and deserves every accolade it received but I consider Mr. Robot a tick better because the themes were much more important in scope and as a result far more difficult to pull off and yet they managed to masterfully.
Sam Esmail truly blessed us with a show that started very high, got even cooler through its run and has an epic ending. It a once in a thousand kind of show.
Please please give Bojack Horseman a try, it's the closest thing i can think of to Mr Robot (and i freaking love Mr Robot). Maybe not in story, but almost certainly in terms of theme and character study. Also the ending is also very bitter sweet aswell.
@@omegamanGXE it is, and it isnt. The first 4/5 episodes are presented as a sitcommy cartoon, but then the show changes (intentionally), and starts to deal with proper issues.
Wow. That hit me right in the guts. That last part set to outro with all the character shots...ho-ly. And the part focusing on Elliot and Darlene's relationship brought a tear to my eye too. Man, I just can't let go of this amazing show. What a wonderful tribute, truly: thank you, friend.
beautiful man just beautiful :') thank you My father and i started watching this together and after season 3... he passed away from cancer i just wish we could of watched the ending together :'(
This whole time, I thought changing the world was something you did, an act you performed, something you fought for. I don’t know if that’s true anymore. What if changing the world was just about being here, by showing up no matter how many times we get told we don’t belong, by staying true even when we’re shamed into being false, by believing in ourselves even when we’re told we’re to be different? And if we all held on to that, If we refused to budge and fall in line, If we stood our ground for long enough, Just maybe The world can’t help but change around us. Even though we’ll be gone, It’s like Mr Robot said We’ll always be a part of Elliot Alderson. ...and we’ll be the best part, Because we’re the part that always showed up We’re the part that stayed. We’re the part That changed him. And who wouldn’t be proud of that? ............. Come on This only works if you let go too. .............. Hello, Elliot
@@10shatrunjay I can't let go man. It is one the only things I get legit sad about. That show was the single greatest thing i have seen media wise. I can't let go yet
I have probably come back to this video a million times and I don’t think I will ever stop. I miss this show so much and it will ALWAYS be my favorite of all time. The writing, the acting, and the music made me feel emotions so deep. Seeing the last scene when Darlene says, “Hello, Elliot” gave me chills, even after watching it so many times. This story will always encourage me to continue healing from my trauma and inspire me to write something beautiful. I will always cherish Mr. Robot.
I just finished the series for the first time and I'm crying my eyes out. This is my favourite show of all time. This video gave me all the emotions again, the love, the joy, & the pain. I'm really upset but also very happy 😩😢🥺
With M83 everything is 100x better! I love Mr Robot, one of my favourite TV show and in my opinion this is a very important social criticism to the real world. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! We are going a very wrong way and don't even see it.
I remember seeing the previews for this new show called Mr Robot. I made my mom record it. I fell in love. Years later on my own it’s the best thing I’ve ever watched. I never thought breaking bad would be beaten but I had a hunch this show would after only the first season. I can’t let go. I just can’t.
Watched this last night with my brother, we were blown away by the quality! You found a way to capture the essense of Mr Robot without giving away spoilers. You're truly a talented editor and I hope you continue to make these so we can keep enjoying them. Thank you.
Daymn this shit hit real hard. After watching all of it this just works so well. Not for anyone looking to get into series, this is for us who have watched and felt this show.
"Come on, this only works if you let go too". This scene broke me into pieces when i watched it for the first time and even today I get goosebumps. This series is phenomenal, I don't understand how I can't convince a person to watch it ... it's the only series that I couldn't convince anyone, and probably the best I've ever seen, overcoming breaking bad.
I will truly miss this show, it was unique because we were there with the character all this time and most of us related him in some way, this was why we all felt sad when it was over. We had to say our goodbyes to series that understood us, to a character that embodied something from each and every one of us, and that my friend is not something easy to accomplish.
Just finished watching the show for the 2nd time. I keep coming to this from time to time. This has to be the best tribute for the piece of art that is Mr. Robot.
After watching season 4 , all the other seasons make so much sense and gives you a whole new perspective of why did Elliot** keep on forgetting things or why Mr. Robot did what he did or why Elliot** keep on pushing himself only to get himself in mind bending and hardcore situations. Delicate personalities need to be handled carefully and that is what exactly Mr.Robot did for our dear Elliot**
I just finished this show. I can say without a doubt it took my expectations of "oh a cool hacking show", strapped like five jet engines to them and sent them into the stratosphere. This was the most emotionally involved I've ever been in a story. Malek did an amazing job with the character and it really feels like Elliot's out there somewhere living a real life, just not one that we'll ever get to watch and I'm perfectly fine with that.
This was the most powerful influence in my early 20’s. At one point, I made a promise to myself to be alive to make it to the season 3 premiere. Looking back, if control really is an illusion, and the puppet master made me dance to typing this out all these years later, I owe so much gratitude to Sam and Rami. I carry this show as part of the fabric of my being, and I am forever thankful for the impact of an external influence as simple as a tv show to keep the ones it’ll never know of moving forward. If you’re reading this and currently struggling, you are loved. When no one else is there, you have to love yourself enough to believe you deserve better, or to have known what is better to comprehend the struggle in the first place. You are loved. You are enough.
This is still one of the best tribute edits of any tv I've seen. Love coming back to watch it every so often to remind me of what an incredible viewing experience this show was. I hope more people get exposed to it, because it deserves even more acclaim than it already gets.
"Well I'll be here to remember for you." Elliot's bond with Darlene is a very special kind, She knows he does so much and he knows he does so much that he is verging on forgetfulness. As a sister she wants him to see what the new world is like and he is simply catching up.
@@Digger-Nick How did it not make sense? lol. You must really not be paying attention if you do not understand her story or the reasoning behind the machine and what it was supposed to do.
@@xAsceticx So then explain it. They very clearly made it seem like it was a real device, but the ending contradicted that and it turns out it was nothing. Not to mention the dark army executing every plan with ZERO error, only for whiterose to completely change character and insist on pushing forward with Elliot despite knowing his intentions and EVERYONE telling whiterose to cut ties with Elliot. Complete character and plot backtracking. Email couldn't decide where to go with the show after season 2.
There has not been a show like this that has resonated with me this much. Even if I don't necessarily have much in common with Elliot, the show makes me feel like I do. This tribute managed to amazingly encapsulate all the best parts of the show, from the comedy to the sadness, from the start to the absolutely perfect ending. Thank you for creating this video. I feel like I will come back and watch it again whenever I feel the need to unwind and reconnect with these characters. Truly awesome work man.
Bro you got me bawling I've been watching this show for several weeks now and I'm almost to the finally. This show has opened my mind to what's really out there and how life is for some people and it just breaks me this was amazing the song choice was beautiful as well!!!
It’s 2023. And I still miss this show. Just woke up in the morning and thinking about it so just came here watch fast flashback ❤❤ Good bye friend but it’s not farewell
Ducking incredible man! Hit right in the feels perfectly. The shows over and this was a perfect tribute making it feel less like a tv show and more like an experience that we all were along for the ride for 😃
I've watched this tribute so many times over the last year and it is utterly AMAZING!! Thank you!! Best tribute EVER to the best show EVER!! Awesome editing and score!! You are truly amazing at editing!! Cheers!! 🥂
The connection with this show can never be matched. still gives me goosebumps, truly a roller coaster of emotions type of experience. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to experience it. Life changing stuff, exciting times.
Jesus Christ, I just finished this series last night, been watching 2-3 episodes a night (most nights) for like a month, this is really well done. Love this show 👍 and sharing
