I very very rarely think a cover is as good as the original, HOWEVER, in this case the Chordettes could not have done this song any better than these four young ladies did, AWESOME job.

The third girl (light green) from the left between pillow girl and stuff toy girl is the key. Has that much needed low voice that holds the rhythm and harmony together. Great job, a well done job to all the girls for a fabulous cover.

Holy Moly!! Some of the most complex harmonies ever written for the human voice, and you gals NAILED IT!! The last time I heard this song done this well was when Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, and Linda Ronstadt did this in 1978 for the proposed Trio album which got scrapped until like 10 years later. The original was written by Pat Ballard in 1954 and recorded by the Chordettes and another group that I can't remember right now. Very well done, thank you F&F!!😁👍👍

I'm a garage band musician, so I got a trained ear. The harmonies are so tight, that I couldn't tell the individual lines. Tip my hat once more.

I don't know how the algorithms have me this song to listen to, but I am sure glad they did. I listened to it and sent the rest of the day listening to everything they had on RU-vid well into the night. Twenty-four hours later I was buying some CDs and saying m favorite retail vocalists Maggie and Sammie. It is great music most of my favorites I from what I listened to growing up. Popular music from 1955 to 74ish. Now this is my favorite band.

Awesome! Carries me back to 1954, a 19 year old soldier and my first time away from home in Germany for three years. I was a big fan of the Arthur Godfrey Show and the Chordettes were featured. Thank you so much for the memory. Your 86 year old fan in Florida.

I think this is one of the best covers I've heard. I give credit to the trios that try it, but I think the fourth voice helps. And the guy comes the best to matching Dick Clark's "Yes."

Just listened to their newest release, Mr. Sandman. For anyone who wants to listen to real harmonies and great band, this is the benchmark for all others. When I think about all the junk music that's being listened to, it pales in comparison to this music video and all your others. Telling Me Lies is one of the best things I have ever heard. Keep bringing us joy and happiness and you will be blessed for it.

I accidently listened this song back in 90s, as a kid, in rural China. In fact I didn't know what are they singing about because I knew no English back then. I can't even remember why or where I listened it. But the melody and chords are so catchy and beautiful, It took roots in my head, so I never forgot this song. I tried many times in my youth to find this song but yield no results. suddenly, today I got THIS! Your cover is even better than original, better than the beautiful song in my memory. As always a perfect rendition with great harmonies, pace was perfect as well. Frankly I could listen to the F&F for hours on end and be totally amazed by the sheer talent and variety they cover , more often they are better than the original.
