It's good to see Jokey Smurf stealing produce instead of using explosives for attempted murder. That stretch in Smurf Quentin really seemed to have helped.
Wow! I clicked on this on a whim...and,was totally surprised when I found these ONE TO GROW ON episodes! I remember them like they were on yesterday... even though they were on,like, 30 years ago!
I don’t really think there was ever much difference between Mr. T “out of character” and the character the writers gave him. And I think that was a very deliberate choice.
He's right, saying that you have to start small. This reminds me so much of the "Archies" Moose Mason. He definitely started small when he started lifting weights as a baby boy. 👶
To get bigger, you have to start smaller. That doesn't just go with getting bigger, physically. It also goes with trying to be successful. A lot of successful people in the world got big because they started out small. They start working smaller jobs and eventually moved their way up to bigger jobs. If you try to start out at the top, you'll realize that you're taking on more than you're ready to handle. Ease your way into it as you go along.
Mr. T is definitely right. Arnold Schwartzenager would've said the same thing. It takes a long and slow time to build yourself, if you try to make it happen quickly, you can end up SERIOUSLY hurting yourself which is something you should always avoid. This One to Grow On also demonstrates the saying,"Slow and Steady wins the Race."
They kinda did in one of their first episodes when they go to that indian casino. They end the episode with that "The more you know!" NBC segment, and from what I read, "The more you know!" replaced "One to grow on."
If you want to get bigger, start smaller. That's true, it's the best way. It also goes by the saying that if you want to get to the top, start at the bottom.
@@daleholbert3111 It's not just with making your body bigger but also with other things like building a successful career or business. A lot of successful people in the world became successful because they started at the bottom and worked their way to the top. Also businesses became big because they started out small. They started with only a few stores, not a big chain of them. As those businesses got more customers and money then they expanded. Starting out with too many stores(or restaurants, etc.) is a big risk that can fail, so it's best to start out small. Also successful singers and music groups didn't start out singing in big stadiums, they started out singing in small clubs and went on to bigger places as their popularity grew. It's always best to start out small and at the bottom to get to the top and become big.
Mr. T didn't get that way overnight. It took him years of training and hard work. If you're expecting overnight results, you're going to be disappointed big time.
that's when black people had more decent shows ..and had more control and pride today it's what ever white America wants you to be or you don't get any support.
I might have imagined this episode, I don't know, but I am sure I have seen one of these where a kid was about to get revenge on some bullies with ninja throwing stars, and his younger brother had to decide whether to tell his parents or not. I've been looking forever for that episode, and I can't find it anywhere. Of course, it is absolutely impossible to find a list and details of these shorts on the internet, because the internet today is no longer ment to be used to find information; only propaganda, Covid, and Trump
Awesome commercial, things were so real back in those days.. Kids are so sheltered today, they wouldn't be allowed to look up to a guy like Mr T.. They wouldn't want any manliness to rub off on the precious children..
