This should have been how CATS was made: minimal makeup but evoke the animal through SUGGESTION. Every single character in this movie is more convincing than all of CATS.

Off topic but this is one of the reasons I’m so thankful my dvd player still works- this movie is absolutely bonkers and I love it so much and I’m worried it doesn’t stream anywhere… these songs get stuck in my head so often…. “He was so nimble toad!” 😂😂😂🥰🥰
Just can not stop watching this! Who is this actor? He is soooo funny! And the voice! I love the First time he says "Mr Toad" the most next to that statue head of himself "But they none of them know one half as much, as clever old Mr TOAD!" Lol I keep laughing so much every time

This song always has to be done in every adaptation of WITW. If you like this one, check out the version heard in the claymation version (my favourite).
"Oh, such a crazy song, sent me into chortle-mode. And to think it was done by someone as dumb as Impossible Mr Toad!" Yes, that was a rather clumsy lyric, but all the same, that was annoying in a rather comical way! lol

Is the actor who played Mr. Toad here played by the same guy who played the Caterpillar from "Adventures in Wonderland" & the spitting teacher from "That's So Raven"?
The cartoon Disney version made more sense to me. Because he didn't steal the motor car, in this version he does, so there's no reason for him to get out of jail and then not go back.
In the book he did steal the car and he did have a reason to get out of jail, no offence, as we were supposed to feel sorry for him as he didn't mean to steal it really, he was just being silly and not thinking about the consequences of his actions.
