Hello, I tried to install this exact Carplay Box in my Japan Spec Mercedes C216 CL500 with NTG 3.0. I did everything that was shown in the video but it doesnt work. When I switch to TV nothing happens. Also I have no sound any more in my vehicle. I uninstalled everything and the sound works again. What do I have to do?
I have same NTG on W221, but no TV tab. Does the red light on your CarPlay box turn on showing that it’s powered. Did you see a diagnosis screen when trying to activate TV?
@@rafaeldakaj344 The red light on the CarPlay box was on. I did not see any diagnostic screen when switching to TV, it was just a black screen. The TV Option on my Comand was already activated since I have the TV factory module installed. Maybe this is the problem why the box is not working. I think I have to pull the power cable from the TV module in the trunk and try again..
@@geerafe6045I think the problem for you is they didn’t take into account people who had tv module already in their cars and there’s problems cause both video inputs run on same channel. For me I think they didn’t consider the people who don’t have any video options in their car at all and forgot to activate Video function. They advertise it as one fits all solution tho. Very frustrated, about to refund if they don’t solve quick
