From their perspective it’s actually a good reason in favor of having removed the dislikes. If it was public, easily accessible knowledge that their biggest creator is receiving that much negative feedback, that could hurt their brand.
@@bob440 isn't that the point of dislikes? negative feedback to show that the video and/or creator is bad, having removed being able to see how many dislikes a creator gets is indirectly promoting bad creators, but I guess money talks louder than morals

Like if I ask for a lawyer because I’m being charged of a crime, that’s not a sign that I’m trying to get away with it, it’s just me trying to not get in trouble for something I may or may have not done. 2. Addressing it is way harder than your making it out to be. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a time where a RU-vidr made an apology video and it went well. It doesn’t matter how carefully you choose your words, people are going to be mad anyways.
As RU-vid API refuses to provide dislike info, people with only the return dislike extension disliking counts. So the count is much worse as a lot of people don't even know this extension exists. And the extension takes time to sync up overtime, Mr beasts has a lot of audience
What? Is RU-vid supposed to Ban Jimmy who is the face of the platform? Till he responds, he's not going anywhere. And this video was filmed way before the drama. The guys in it are just seeing dislikes because they were in a Mr Beast video. They probably don't hate Mr Beast though.
Mrbeast will do nothing since a single video can get up to 200M views in just a week, that gets him and youtube money, So he can just sit back on his yacht and bath in money, While other people are riding the wave and are uploading videos about mr beast as fast as possible because that also earns them money, nobody is doing this out of kindness.

He's just as bad as Mr. Beast, he intentionally clickbaits and makes things up to get his audience riled up. One of the worst things about people realizing how bad Mr. Beast is, is acting like Sunnyv2 is some unsung hero. He literally sings Mr. Beasts praises like the entire video he made about Mr. Beast. He's a slimy content creator who has nothing good about his videos but editing, and he did literally nothing to help get out information about Mr. Beast or his team, and the wrong things they did.

I joined the effort when I relized what was happening, some of the commenters would try and cover their comment like this: "Hugo carried lol YouCan'tHideTheTruthWeKnowJimmy" Still have no idea who Hugo is. The bots were more obvious then ususal.

So basically the video idea was two strangers live in a bunker for 100 days and get 500000 dollas and Hugo got a chance to exit early but still have his 200000 dollas and let the other person compet alone. Now this other person was an obnoxious girl who was mostly depended on Hugo cuz he would cook food everytime do the cleaning grow vegetables and stuff. Thats why lots of comments said Hugo carried the whole video, but its suspiciously too many comments like that.

What are they going to say? The videos they've published are pretty damning even without any sort of inside information. It certainly does look like there's been some wire fraud going on and definitely forgery. I mean, we literally see one of his team members forging his name to a t-shirt that was ostensibly used as part of a giveaway.

there's no way Mr. beast is innocent if he's censoring criticism and his dislike count. if he wanted to save his reputation he would have came out with a video or a tweet already addressing that he knew and would be responding or responding soon but no, he's taking every step to block out everyone who's questioning him and sending legal threats to people. if he's supposed to be this savior or morally good guy then why is he dealing with this situation in the most unmoral immature way possible. smh.
Your free to believe that but at the end of the day Mr. beast is a corporation. Slandering and defamation is obviously gonna be erased or confronted with legal action. Or it could just be he's getting tired of peoples shit on the internet. Especially if he didn't do anything wrong. Saying he's handling it in a immature way is just simply untrue, as these laws exist for these very reasons. Posting proof or responding to the situation won't make the people slandering stop. The Dislike extension actually just tallies the dislikes made by people *with the extension* Meaning that the only dislikes being shown are from people using the third party extension, so the dislikes are wildly *UNDER* reported. It's hard/impossible to know what percentage of viewers that are likely to dislike a video also have the extension, but considering MrBeast's audience, it can't be high.
Half of the deletion is automated while the ones that bypass are getting deleted. Now there is too many for them to delete manually due to how fast people are commenting.

Blame the bots giving people trust issues, because no offense, profile pictures with real people in them feel like a red flag now. Since this comment is edited and you seem fairly normal, I will believe you. However, I understand what you mean about random people defending him. Not sure how to phrase it properly, but he has all the odds stacked against him right now. Things like cease and desists or comment deletions aren't good for his case.

Absolutely pathetic behaviour. When RU-vid started out, people we're genuine. Now everyone behaves like a big ass company, inhumane, with a full team of lawyers... How people are still watching such inauthentic content is beyound me.
This is not unique. It happens to any company/industry that either substantially increases the money involved or carries a lot of social weight for politics. RU-vid is both. This is why it changed so fast.
RYD is a bit complicated and can be very wrong, for example: If 90% of people without the plugin are liking the video and 90% of people using the plugin are disliking it, it will extrapolate the dislikes in a disproportionally big amount. The main requirement for this plugin to work correctly is people using it being equally as likely to like/dislike the video as people not using it. I can see a few reasons why people with this plugin would rate the video differently than people without it, one of them being that people using RYD are usually more into RU-vid and know more about the drama, while others just occasionally watching casually might not have seen what's happened and are more likely to give a positive reaction. I still don't believe his 5k dislikes, but what RYD is telling you likely is a very very high estimate aswell in this specific situation.
This information is purely from my personal knowledge and understanding of RYD - i might be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is how it works (background: I'm a programmer)

A lot of comments saying "Jimmy is back" on his channel are just bots, most of those accounts are just 1 to 2 months old. Jimmy is buying comments to save his face lol 😂

Jack was, or is or always was, right on pointing out that Mr. Beast encouraged materialism and RU-vid content to be so; but everyone went up and arms against him because "Mr. Beast is not that kind of guy so his content is not souless but geniune and good filantrophy"... 1 dislike or 1 million dislikes - he still gets paid , people have specifically gone onto the video just to dislike BUT just clicking a video he will get paid , then disliking or liking - he still gets paid … he will still get paid millions on each video
Everyone that is an "Influencer" will always do this, they will do anything to keep their "Good" image but once something bad happens, you're forever hated. As a developer myself, RU-vid publicly shares their API data and still returns Like/Dislike data; meaning literally anybody can get the dislikes via google themselves. I also heard that the extension may have its own servers that handle dislike ratios, though anyone can test this from source code, or unliking a video without the extension on a private tab (diff acc), waiting 5m, then checking to see if it updates on a tab with the extension.
Are you sure that's just not a RU-vid glitch, Cuz well for one I've made a few comments on his newest video and non have been banned or deleted, But the reason I asked if it's a glitch is because the past few months RU-vid has been taking down comments with just regular words, like it'll let you post it, but if you refresh it disappears, replace a letter in a word that seems like it'd probably be the problem and its just fine (i over complicated that) But is it just once you refresh it disappears?

if you're using the extension called "return dislike buttons", it is inaccurate in a good way because the dislike number is how many people using the extension clicked on the dislike button which is less than the real number. So yeah keemstar and anyone else who claim it is lower is wrong.
Last time I see when a youtuber start deleting comments after went into drama they immediately become irrelevant. At that point it's better to make a apology video.
