I feel like mrekk is now eating a lot of shit talking for nothing, it's really sad, and i fell like he need support rn. The situation looks like people would just eat everyone who'll be not 100% dominant in the game full time
That's the way the internet works, unfortunately. Especially when it comes to competitive games like this, there are always going to be trolls or just bad players who are jealous of other people's achievements and will type nasty things.
And it's literally all just like 6 digits mostly ☠️. Why is it always the lower rank players that have beef with people that can destroy them anytime of the day? I'm a mania player and I've witnessed 3 digits get called out by 6 digits and even I've been called out once by someone that was like rank 99k 😭 (I'm rank like 2,746). Madness man.
If Mrekk was upset I get it, he has had #1 for 3.5 years and it is something he has actively defended for so long so he was probably overwhelmed when it was taken off him and his chat is literally just bullying him which was sad to see. I hope Mrekk doesnt take it too hard and he has more than shown how dominant and amazing he is at all different skill sets. I am sure he will come back and take #1 when he wants to. Massive respect to Mrekk for everything he has done for the Osu Community and the barriers he has pushed and broken. Even if he never plays again, he has left such a mark on the community that he is one of the most dominant players of his time. Congratulations to both players for pushing the game to its limit.
it's crazy how toxic some of the community can be, he is by far the best osu player of the 2nd half of osu (aka post shige) and akolibed is no where near him except being better in speed despite what the ranking says.
mrekk getting mass-no.2'd on that stream was peak bully activity. I was advocating for Akolibed to get no.1, but seeing this shit makes me wanna see mrekk getting no.1 back. mrekk prob will get back no.1 after the upcoming rework so it is inevitable. Hopefully mrekk comes back stronger and actually sets crazier scores like his current chokes.
utami at 18 pulled off what 99% of "people" even twice his age fail at: man up, admit he did horrible shit, apologize, & get professional help what he did was rancid and shouldn't be forgotten, but he's at least at a point where i believe he can turn his life around

I think people forget "plz enjoy game". As a 6 digit myself, I'm impressed by any player above me, #1, #2, #99999, it doesn't matter. Haters in Mrekk's chat need lay off a bit.
I feel sad for both mrekk and Accolibed. Since both of them are going to be affected by this, being shamed in public by the crowds. And i can feel it being even more violent, since you get flamed for doing that to the person. I used to feel that a lot after setting a top score, jumping higher than my friends. It feels like a mental stab in the chest. Just stop caring about it like if a meteor has hit the Earth. It's not the end.
The daily challenge was pretty fun. I got there 15 minutes after it started, so I was able to get a good rank at first (peaking at 11) but since I can't max spin, I got pushed out of the top 50 pretty fast.
Mrekk had to play literal 11* to get the same amount of pp like akolibed while he "only" had to farm on 10 stars so yea kinda busted@@ExperimentalKana
I think mrekk probably was sad, yes he lost rank 1 but no need to rub it in his face like his chat is honestly so fucked and i dont know how he still has courage to keep streaming. Props to mrekk man
