I flew out to Bozeman and met up with some friends the second week in October 2023. We chased and photographed the MRL from Livingston to Thompson Falls over the course of 5 and a half days. We captured MRL manned helpers, the Gas Train several times and even a BNSF officers special. On this is day one upon my arrival we got right on the road and hit areas east of Bozeman till sunset. Two of my video cameras will be retired after this as I have had them now over 10 years and they are quite beat up. In some cases there are up to 3 camera views. Some trains were cut off at the end as we were on a chase, therefore allowing time to get ahead to another spot.
