I’ve made this cake twice. Perfect pound cake! ❤❤❤❤

Mrs. Johnnie Ruth’s Tips: TO GET THE CAKE JUST RIGHT: * Leave all ingredients out overnight (eggs too) • Use CAKE FLOUR • Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. • Use SALTED butter. • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. • Use 2 drawer tsp of both extracts instead of 1 *** Yes the milk is sweetened condensed milk.***

Babyyyyyy THIS CAKE is the closest taste I remember next to my grandmothers and aunts recipe. It has that classic nostalgic poundcake taste and flavor with a beautiful crispy and moist crusted top! I've made this cake 3x so far and is my TO GO TO RECIPE for all of my poundcakes for now on. A friend of mine past this recipe on into a cake group in Facebook and it went CRAZY VIRAL, EVERYONE AND THEIR MOMMA AND MOMMAS MOMMA WAS MAKING THIS CAKE EVERYDAY ALLLLL DAY! I made the cake using cake flour, I usually bake with AP flour and always have it on hand. So will definitely try AP flour to see how it comes out. The cake was really good and I did make a glaze.
