OMG!! You are so right. I didn’t realize I was putting to much butter. It did look like it was a little dense and I figured that’s how it was supposed to turn out. That also explains why I had a lot of batter left over. Thank you so much for asking this question. It has made all the difference. This is why I need you all helping me out. Thanks for sharing. I have a question you said recipe call for 3 sticks of butter. You used equivalent to 5 sticks. The 8 oz packets is 2 sticks equivalent each. How did it turn out with that amount of butter?
