Maganda po yung story. May substance. Malalim yung symbols. Hindi nga lang po masyadong na-execute ng maayos. May mga flaws sa audio at cinematography pero overall napakaganda po ng mensahe nung pelikula. Napakaraming realizations ang mapupulot sa plot. I would definitely recommend this to my peers.
Ang ganda!! ang ganda ng plot. Eto Homework namin for Grade 12 Filipino. It touched my heart so much lalo na sa part na nasa balcony sila luchi, clara, at chona nung pinag uusapan nila about sa pangarap ng anak nya na iniba nya dahil lamang sa pangako nya sa patay. Kasi hanggang ngayon parin naman, nangyayari parin ito sa lipunan natin. Arts yung track ko ngayon, at sana panoorin din ako ng nanay ko maging masaya sa kurso ko. Kaso porket mas magaling ako sa English as the normal Filipino does, ayun, magiging English teacher na lang ako. Bukod don, napaka ganda talaga ng movie!! Sure ako na it touched the hearts of thousands!!
Finally! Napanood ko din si Mrs Recto. Kung gaano katagal itong ginawa ni direk ay ganoong katagal ko din itong inaantay. Sulit ba? Oo naman, Super! Sa umpisa naguguluhan din ako pero dahil likas akong mahilig manood ng mga malalalim na pelikula at dokumentaryo ay madali kong nasundan ang atake. Di na ako magko-comment sa teknikal di rin naman ako masyadong nakakaintindi nun hahaha. Wala na akong masasabi kundi mahuhusay ang casts, nakakaantig ang soundtrack, andun ang familiarity sa kapaligiran, madadala ka sa kasimplehan ng mga eksena pero tagos. Maaaliw ka sa transition ng mga eksena. In short kudos to the whole production. Ito ang pelikulang walang tapon at hindi mo panghihinayang magbayad sa sinehan.

Wow... Very relatable and inspirational. Lalo na sa tulad kong ina din. Paano nga ba maging mabuting ina, sapat na ba na may kakayahan ka para paaralin sya? Mamili ng kursong kukunin sa kolehiyo para sa kanya? Alam ko ilan taon na lang darating ako sa punto na yan, at dahil sa movie na to mas pipiliin kong ang anak ko ang mamili sa tatahakin nyang landas. Titiyakin kong anuman ang patutunguhan nun, andito lang ako para sumuporta at gumabay sa kanya. Pagpalain nawa ang gumawa at nag isip ng ganitong konsepto. More power!
sobrang ganda and very touching, maraming moral lesson tulad ng huwag husgahan ang kapwa base sa nakikita, matutong patawarin ang sarili at magbago upang mapatawad rin ng kapwa, magmahal at magbigay ng walang hinihintay na kapalit, igalang ang desisyon ng magulang, mahalin at maging responsable sa kinabukasan ng anak, huwag susuko sa mga pangarap at mga pinaglalaban sa buhay, at marami pang iba sobrang lalim ng pelikula, isang tunay na obra, sa huli marerealized mo na natupad ang mga pangarap ng magulang sa katauhan ng mga anak nila, lalo na si clara, sa huli naging napakagaling na manunulat si monica bakit parang di ko ito napanood sa sinehan??
Great cast. Ang galing nila lalo na sila Pen Medina at Glaiza de Castro. I like the scene nina Pen at Connie. Bilang isang ina at anak, madaming aral akong napulot sa pelikulang ito. A wonderful work, Isda Revolution Philippines.
Grabe the best ang story! 'Yong ang simple lang ang daloy ng istorya pero kailangan mo buksan 'yong isip at puso mo para mas lalo mong maintindihan. Nakakatuwa lang kasi andaming nangyari sa isang araw. Andaming aral na applicable sa totoong buhay. Bukod sa storyline at script, sobrang galing din po ng mga cast. I do hope na sana marami pa ang makapanood nito. Napaka eye opening ng Indie Film na ito. Mas lalo tuloy akong nainspire kasi pangarap ko rin pong maging actor at sumalang sa mga pelikula. God Bless po sa lahat ng nagtulong-tulong para ma-produce ang INDIE film na ito :)

Just WOW! Accidentally, while I was looking for a good movie that suits my night I saw @Mrs.Recto.. Aside from thing that Regine caught my attention coz I wonder that she portrayed it and in the midpart it push me to continued and watched 'til the end. Truly you guys never fail me I'm really moved and my fav. part that I get and learn is that you don't need to touch everyone's but one heart is enough, by then you'll just get second, third and so on.. that's why I declare success in every thing you do, you guys doing great job and God bless you even more I commend you sooo muchies!!!

Engrossing movie. Mrs. Recto essays a lot of relatable Filipino characters in a story set in one of Manila's iconic districts. Splendid performances by all the actors. The plot is refreshing, light but one that does not pander to the usual comedy. There's a lot of optimism and positive values in it. Well done!
Casa Nieves sana ipalabas naman to sa sinehan. pls pls. sigurado kikita to. idol ko si ms. regz but this is the first time she did an indie film. she has grown to be a fine actress. pero hindi naman kataka taka. she already did kenkoy loves rosing and noli me tangere where she also plays CLARA.
I am a Grade 11 student at isa sa mga project namin ay gawan to ng buod/summary which is sobrang hirap kase may mga transitions na scene nila Glaiza tas pupunta sa scenes nila Regine. Pero wag ka, ang ganda ng story. Walang tapon. Although may mga technical problems like hindi marinig minsan ang boses pero ang ganda pa rin. Di talaga ako nanonood ng indie films pero nagustuhan ko talaga to. Kudos sa mga gumawa ng film na to. More power.

Nice story and presentation. Very nostalgic as I myself stayed in the boarding house in Manila at Espana and Forbes Street for a decade. I was hoping they will also show the Streets and buildings in Morayta, Recto and Espana streets, how it looks since I left in 1975. Watching from this Illinois lockdown.
Yung mga comments ng iba puro "hindi ko naintindihan" "ang panget" "sayang oras" Ang film po na ito ay para sa mga may utak at hindi lang basta mata ang ginagamit sa panunuod. Ang alam ko may parts na tinanggal at iniba rin ang story. Although I'm not really sure why they did not finish the orginal plot, kudos pa rin for making such sensible movies. I initially watched this for Regine (BTW I so love her acting here) but then the story was really good :) Good job! Hoping to see this on big screen.
Brilliantly made film. The story telling was smooth. The characters showed us different perspective that everyone can relate to. The actors portrayal is commendable, I love how "relatable" everyone is even though most of them are considered big stars. Hope to see more from you direk!

Awesome movie. So much lesson learned on faith, trust and believe in God; relationships: friendship, Mother's love, etc... Movie was nostalgic of my struggles and sufferings when i lived in a boarding house first in Recto in Holy Spirit dorm for the CPA review then in España. So different from my city in the province.
