#Flash Fill feature in Excel very useful for GIS users#
In Microsoft Excel, the Flash Fill feature is typically found under the "Data" tab in the ribbon. Here's how you can access and use the Flash Fill command:
Enter Data: Start by typing the data in the column where you want to apply the Flash Fill transformation.
Adjacent Column: In an adjacent column, type the desired transformation for the data. This adjacent column serves as a guide for Excel to understand the pattern you want to apply.
Apply Flash Fill:
After typing a few examples of the transformation in the adjacent column, Excel might automatically detect the pattern and display a preview of the changes.
