A big reason why Kamala was allowed to go to Zoey's house is because they grew up as friends and her mother knew her and her family, along with having 2 other friends the mother knows being there. It helped she didn't say it was a party.

This show is very well written and filmed. We are learning about very interesting, relatable and likable characters. So we now know Kamala's powers aren't coming from the bangle, the bangle unlock the power inside of her. I believe this will be really important. I love how in Phase 4 Marvel is combining MCU mythos and lore with actual history and cultures. Rumor has it we will see more of this in Wakanda Forever. Also how dare Damage Control take E.D.I.T.H from Peter and repurpose the Stark drones to hunt enhanced individual (especially kids like Kamala). Not cool.
That moment, when Bruno says the power is coming from inside…. that’s your first hint that she’s an inHuman. In the books, the Terrigan mist is what unlocks it…
More specifically the Terrigen Mist Kamala was exposed to was the result of a Terrigen Bomb. The comic history goes that Inhumans get screened before being carefully exposed to controlled amounts of Terrigen mist to make sure only the right Inhumans go through Terrigenesis. In the past, when it was still unregulated, about half ended up "monstrous" which damaged their gene pool. Then some giant comic things happened and Black Bolt has his own Earth sized Terrigen bomb, also Thanos is there, the bomb goes off making countless "NuHumams". It's complicated but from an editorial standpoint after it became clear Fox was going to be making all the movie and TV mutant money Marvel comics started moving away from mutants and trying to replace their role with Inhumans. When the movie turned TV series bombed because it was horrible and they regained the rights from Fox the whole Inhuman experiment kinda tapered off. Though we did get some great characters out of it I wouldn't be surprised if they get retconned in the comics over time.

I am loving Ms Marvel - It is my guilty pleasure!!! 1. Her powers are cool. 2. Her character is interesting. 3. Her culture feels real and authentic. 4. I am loving the Bollywood feel, quirk and cleverness!!!
I am really enjoying this show. It continues to be well-crafted and well-executed. I really like all the creative flourishes, and the characters are very relatable. So much fun.
Going back after this show is over and re watching with you guys is fun and this episode I remember that ending being so wild I was like WHAT?!?! haha, kamala getting a handle on her power is excellent
as a proud kamala khan stan i was so worried for this show i actually put off watching it and i can safely say they’ve knocked it out of the park. still iffy on the power change but i don’t mind it. i’m a white teenage boy but she’s still the most i’ve ever related to a character and i’ve been there since her debut when i was 10. and i still love her now at 17
Do you think that the dialogue mentioned that while Kamala mentions Kingo, Kamran mentions Kingo Sr for a reason. With the fact that his mom looks like Kamala khans great grandma, could she be Kree related
"Where is this story gonna go?" My guess: this is mostly an origin story. We learn about Ms. Marvel's powers as Kamala does. There will be a big battle towards the end, but her actions will attract the attention of Captain Marvel, and there will be a clear set-up for the Marvels. Yes. I said it. I think we will see Brie Larsen before the end (though only after Kamala has had a chance to prove her worth). 😎 Higher, further, faster, Baby.
