Well that character death barely lasted for, what, 3 months? Feels like yesterday.

The biggest thing holding Kamala back is ironically Marvel. They're trying too hard to make her out to be not just the most important character in Marvel but THE character OF Marvel but if anything, that tells me how the people really running things now don't get Marvel or comic readers in general.

Even the artist seems to hate her with how bad she is dawn.

Marvel: You love this character Readers: No we don't Marvel: She's so popular that we're putting her in TV shows and movie and games! Readers: She is not popular, and nobody cares if she is in a TV show (which was bad), Games (which was also bad), or a movie (which will no doubt be awful) Marvel: She died and you demanded we bring her back so we did! Readers: We were actually fine with her being dead Marvel: You love this character so here's more of her! Readers: We didn't ask for, nor do we want more of her. And then you decided to do the same with a Muslim character. Marvel: We're so great! Did you know we have lots of women writing and drawing for us now? Readers: An.... and? Marvel: We are so DIVERSE! What a great company we are Readers: Could you maybe focus on telling good stories instead of winning points with social media and the press? That smile Kamala makes at 3:36 reminds me of the scene in Doki Doki Literature Club right before Natsuki breaks her neck and runs at you. Creeeeepy.

Ms. Marvel's eyes remind me of the crazy nurse in "Vader: Dark Visions #3". Except the nurse was MEANT to look crazy.

I stopped reading this bullcrap a while ago. For me, it's only back issues, and independent books. I'm about to dive right into stories like _Kraven's Last Hunt,_ _Final Crisis,_ and _No Man's Land._ With all the stories that I missed, I don't have to touch a new mainstream comic ever again.

This whole thing with Kamala has just been pretty meh for me. I do kinda like her new book, but I'm mostly reading it to see if marvel is just giving her the hard light powers.

Man, I hate brand synergy. Even if I'm not a diehard Kamal Khan, this shit just sucks and feels like both reason to tie-up with her MCU counterpart and as a reactionary decision to erase anything relating to the Inhumans after the massive push for them backfired in the 2010s.

Back when she was introduced, Marvel was pushing Inhumans hard since they didn't own all the rights to the mutant characters. That didn't last long and most of them sank without a trace. Now that they have the rights to their mutant characters back, they are over the whole Inhumans thing. Time to retcon Kamala into being a mutant. Is the art here trying to suggest that she came back wrong somehow? Because that expression is creepy and not at all like she was before.

ah, look at how they massacred my girl. imo marvel should really stop changing their characters to fit their mcu counterparts. like, whats the point? tricking people into thinking theyre the same universe? and its not like an mcu fan is gonna pick up a comic just because kamalas a mutant now. all it does is ruin the characters for the comic readers. also WOW artists just HATE kamala, dont they? this is a thing ive noticed for a while now, but these panels are just egregious.

I was in the camp of how long is she going to stay dead and why was she being killed in a Spider-Man comic and not her own Comic. Also it's weird how you didn't bring up the fact that the actress who is playing Kamala it will be writing the new Kamala comics feels like that would have been information to bring up

I always hated this character for making girls and Muslims look bad, and she could've at least died by something on Earth that triggered a weakness causing her ''powers'' to go haywire and causing her to gruesomely explode, since this is just a hidden alien weakness like Venom.

The only good character to come out of the "All-New, All-Different" era was Miles Morales. The rest are a big joke. How many more trees need to go to waste before Marvel realizes that the majority of fans don't like Ms. Marvel?
