Salathia Graham I agree 100%..Her father is and will always be the man who's changed my life for the better and has planted the seed for me to garnish knowledge of self...
He is my hero as well. We haven't seen a greater Afro-American teacher since him and Sis. Betty has been a GREAT example of how a Black woman should carry the torch...
Salathia Graham You are 100% correct..She was the essence of who he was and together they were about to change things for afro-americans far more than they already had begun to do before malcolm was murdered..We'll never have another MLK, marcus garvery, w.e.b. du bois or medgar evers..So glad that they're legacies still live on!!!
Malcolm's daughters are so thoughtful, smart, eloquent, and beautiful--inside and out, just like their mother (and father). God bless them all, and may Brother Malcolm RIP.
Such eloquent beautiful strong sistah that gives power in her presence. It doesn't surprise me that the one interviewing Ms. Shabazz seems choked up and had a lost of words. I probably would just stare at her, give her a list of questions on paper and write plenty of notes!!! Lol Blessings to the Shabazz family. 👊🏼 Thanks for posting!
You’re spitting image of your dad.El HADJ MALIK AL SHABAZZ to me he is still alive whenever I listen to his speeches I cry because we lost a piece of diamond والله العضيم

With all due respect, of all the sisters, she is the only one that I've heard speak in interviews where she knows exactly what she is talking about in such a way like her father. The rest fall way short. RIP MALCOLM X & BETTY SHABAZZ.

🤦🏿♂️ centuries before slavery and European beauty standards, African women have always sown things into their hair. Even in the endangered tribes that still live as "hunter gatherers", the women who have no knowledge of "weave" or wigs still sow things into their hair.
