I’m about to go to this cruise on 8/4/24….they send me an email with the ticket and luggage tag. If I print the luggage tag on a piece of paper, won’t it break apart? Did you do check in and have them print it out for you instead with a sticky paper tag? Also my embarkation time is 11 am. How soon do you think I will get on the ship, if we get there at 10:50 am?

@@vincentnnyc Hi Vince, thank you for watching! Yay to your upcoming trip! Question 1: Okay, to the luggage tags, yes, if you print it on paper, there is the possibility that it might break or come off altogether. You can get some clear luggage tags for cruise on Amazon. Or another option, is that when you’re dropping off your luggage(s), the porters will write your name & cabin number on a tag they have, which is sturdier and waterproof. Question 2: The embarkation time question is a little more difficult to answer. Because there are a lot of circumstances that can affect your boarding time. At the beginning of my embarkation vlog, I have a time frame from my boarding. Hopefully that can help you gauge your time. I was onboard by 10:40 am. Debbie

For our cruise last June, we got clear plastic tags from Amazon. They worked great. Just be sure of the size. I first ordered ones too small for Holland America luggage tags.
