Hope are all well and healthy. With cruises cancelled and things getting crazy, this was a wonderful distraction and reminded me why we love cruising so much. Hope things settle down soon, and see you on the high seas some day. Take care all and God bless

About to go on this cruise in April, can’t wait ! Any specific excursions you would recommend?

We didn't use any of the ships excursions. Too expensive. We purchased local tours beforehand and they all worked out really well. The speedboat to Oia and bus to Fira on Santorini was brilliant as were our tours in Split and Dubrovnik. They meant we saw all the main sights and more at a great price. Enjoy your cruise.

We are going to book a cruise on this ship but we have seen awful reviews in regards to bad food, smell etc. Any comment on that?

It's not that the food is bad, it's just not as amazing as on other more expensive cruise lines. All cruise ships have occasional smells. Having done quite a few cruises now we reckon it's best not to compare your experience against other ships or cruise lines. Just enjoy the experience for what it is. The Sinfonia is a lovely ship. Sometimes it is the other passengers that affect you more than the ship. See our comments at the end of the Musica cruise.
