THIS is good stuff! I've been around VWs since the mid 80's...but always into stock stuff. I'm just dipping my toe into the high performance arena. VW drag racing setup is DRASTICALLY different from everything else. Please keep these videos coming!!
Hey David, Mike FN told me to reach out . If I’m running a 1679-1776 with (88) heads, on dual 40s genuine webers. Do you have an idea where I should be as far main jet? Im Getting a great idle with (55jets) , but it’s bogging down during gear transition, and I’m hearing very slight popping, but definetly bogging down too. Any help is appreciated sir.
The resolution on your 2step is not great(harder on parts). Rev cuts starting roughly 100rpm to 250rpm before the limit are common. I tend to set my soft cut 300+rpm before the hard cut. Nice and soft like that, most of the time anyway.
