Hi Thom, i have a question that i would really really like to be anwsered scientifically. A diamond lattice will show vacancy and interstitials after a long time of radiation of Beta or Gamma rays. The diamond will show a green color because of these point defects. My questions is under stable room temperature and no other influences of heat or pressure, is it possible that these atoms will become mobile again and the color will fade? Lets say in a time of 10 to 50 years?
