Hey just so you know if you’re not aware, when descending using the VS and following the VNAV descent profile if you hit the SPEED button a second time it will capture your speed and maintain the maximum descent rate possible while managing that speed you captured. Similar to the speed capture in the CLB portion instead of saying CLB on the FMC it will say DES in that same spot. Helps prevent over speed and allows you to do other things to prepare for landing. Not a lot of people know you can do this. I don’t think it works when you have coupled VNAV enabled though.

I did a short hop earlier today and using Simbrief flight plan. Was directed to cruise 39000 ft using CRJ700 via SB flight plan and so as I was heading up to cruise altitude I was only able to reach about 36000 ft max. I tried to reach further up but my speed started plunging down to 140knts when I cranked the VS. Not sure if I did something wrong because I followed every step .

I cannot raise the plane until it reaches 200 kt, although the rotation speed reads 135 kt, on a dry runway and TOTO, flaps 8, with the iPad performance data set. Some clue? 😞
Thanks for the tutorial it was great. Was wondering how you control your speed so well. Since the Crj docent have auto throttle I often find myself accelerating too fast or losing speed especially on approach. Any tricks would be much appreciated thanks
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed! Regarding the speed, when I tried this bird for the first flights I had the same problem with slowing down too much. It comes with practice and getting used to the very special behaviour of the throttle. During approach I pretty much look nowhere else other than the speedtape ;) Cheers
not sure what is happening but when i reach cruise altitude with the speed levers in climb and the speed set on the AP the speed just keeps on running up and the aircraft starts to overspeed. it doesnt stop where i have it set

Hi SNU! Wenn man Airliner in MSFS fliegen möchte, ist die CRJ im Moment sicher eine gute Wahl. Kommt vielleicht auch irgendwann nochmal in den Sale. Bzgl. Honeycomb, das ist mir ein bischen zu teuer... Für die paar Stündchen Flightsim im Monat reicht mein guter alter T16000M ;) Grüße

Am I understanding correct to get ATC to engage with this plane need to download the simbrief flight plan in to the typical msfs format to be able to load into the world map page and then also download the simbrief plan to Aerosoft directory in order to load into fms in the plane - and then once i tune in proper radio com code in plane - atc should engage? I'm glad you like the vid, thanks for watching! Regarding the simBrief flight plan and the ATC, no, I didn't load the fp in the World Map of MSFS. I'm just using the Flight Plan Recall (SB) as shown in the tuto, and make sure that the flight plan sync option is enabled. ATC should be working then. Cheers
@@grantwood8325 Ooops sorry, I thought this was about the Working Title CJ4... The Aerosoft CRJ deosn't have an fp sync option I think. The procedure you mentioned in your first comment is correct. You have to load the MSFS simBrief flightplan in the MSFS World Map and also in the Aerosoft CRJ directory as I show in the video. Then ATC should work.
hello bro i want to ask if it's the first time x starting the plane it should shut down but in my case it's already on, most of the buttons are in the on position, can you help
On the EFB (tablet) there's a page where you can set the default state of the aircraft to "Cold'n'dark". That will start the plane with engines and switches off.
"Better" is a harsh term... the WT CJ4 is an improvement to the default aircraft, while the CRJ is newly built from the ground up. They are both great and if you're into airliners, then the CRJ is more suitable of course ;)
