You are an absolute legend Les. You are an encyclopaedia when it comes to configuring SPADNEXT. You turn these videos (which BTW are so useful) round so quickly. Keep up the great work. I would be immensely grateful if you could (when you get the time) create a video on creating a matrix box button (32 buttons - if possible). I am aware there are videos and websites out there that show the code used, however the wiring with diodes seem to puzzle me. I fully understand if you are unable to do this though. :)
Hi Les, Solid work as always. You have already helped me immensely on Discord. Got my Stream Deck today, and wow!, not only functional for MSFS! Gonna use it for all types of applications. You say in you videos that you have found several sources of button images. Could you please put some links in the description as to where one can find these?
Thank you for your comments, they have been very useful. Excuse me if I suggest a final question here. But I have the million dollar question. My stream deck only has 15 buttons and that profile leaves some interesting buttons missing that when imported do not appear, is there any human way to know what codes and events those buttons have that are not seen because they are outside the 15 of my stream?
I am not sure if they are "there" or not since I don't have a 15 button stream deck to try it on.. however you could use the Summary from the Device Settings drop down of the stream deck (on the right of the UI) to publish a PDF of what is configured for the entire Profile or just that device.

Do I understand that you cannot use the Other Profiles on the Streamdeck while using SPAD ? I have lots of MSFS keys asssigned in many profiles on SD that I use during flight. If not how can We use Keyboards with SPAD I cannot find KB in the device list
Join the spad support discord. Link your license ask questions there. RU-vid comments are not meant for “support” especially since I am just a user of the product not the developer.
I appreciate it... as per always Im having problems with Discord, and MSFS site will never allow me to log in - so strange - I get error each time I try to link license, something will change no doubt. That site looks like some kid is in charge ? I prefer You tube. I have made progress on all fronts with SPAD, but since we are talking I cannot for the life of me get any GEAR DOWN to work with my Honeycomb Bravo - seems like the easiest thing to do, weird. Adding multiple commands for Approach and Landing - never worked in MSFS . IM abandoning keyboard idea and even Stream Deck - will see how CLASS ECHO shakes out, pretty cool - already seeing issues with Tablet but looks great in the 172 so far.

Hi, Great video on setting up the stream deck which mine arrived today. Quick question, i'm wanting to set a button on the stream deck to toggle VR Mode but cant seem to work out how. Any guidance would be great. Thanks
No idea if VR mode is available as an event In the simconnect protocol. If not then you would want to use the vJoy approach and map a vJoy button in MSFS then trigger the vJoy button in your spad button config.
@@LesOReilly Ok thanks for the advice. In that case I might just map to a keyboard combination. Something else, Has the global settings option now disappeared for the Bravo Throttle Quadrant as I no longer see that option available ?
@@JCCFlying yes that left a while ago .. hence the dedicated videos on the "NEW v9.12" bravo custom UI .. Fixed UIs mean the distribution of Devices always work. Also with the updates to "button modes" also a video on that .. there is no need for different Modes.. you can do it all under one mode.
Hi Les I just realized that when I choose the "Ad Event/Button pressed" it seems that the button mode doesn´t show up anymore. Can you say where I can find this button mode now (Release 0.9.13.34) Thanks a lot Juergen
Because the MODE was used for things like repeat .. All of the other events are now the same on streamdeck as they are on joysticks.. So Button HELD would be used for Repeating events.
Hey Les, I run MSFS on a Network. I have Stream Deck software, and my SD+ running on my MSFS PC, but have other software running on my Network PC ( Pilot2ATC ). When trying to program a button for Pilot2ATC, I can get to the .exe file through the network, but will not open that file. Is it not possible?

sure it would work... I have not flown the Q400 in over a year.... yikes... think I have only turned on P3D to run the PMDG and to run the RealityXP GTN for flight prep..
@@LesOReilly How did you get the "Blank" profile inside the "Launcher" profile? With P3D, I don't see and Q400 Lvars in SN? 11707 Items but not a single P3D Lvar?
@@CanadianTexaninLiguria I made an Empty Profile in Elgato Software and then I used the Multi Action button type which you then drag the other actions over with so that it will run multiple items.
@@CanadianTexaninLiguria you need to install the P3D LVAR Bridge to get the P3D LVARs ... different installer than the MSFS one... FYI join the Discord ... doing "techsupport" in youtube comments is crazy... In the discord lot's of people to help and best of all you can post screen shots of your issues and have back and forth conversations..
