Brilliant review. Both the product itself looks brilliant, and they way you actually did the review was so good, really detailed and clear. Awesome as always.
Been using the eyetracker 5 for about a year now, and i love it. Its perfect once you get it setup. Perosnally i turn off the eye tracker and just use head tracking. Works great.
I see what you mean. I do have the eye tracking turned on for the time being but might switch it off eventually and stick just with head tracking for MSFS.
Not bad. Looks good. If you're on a budge, Track IR 5 works just as good with dozens of games including MSFS for almost half the price as the Tobii eye tracker.
How is it performing on a 27 inch curved? My fear is, that when I look at the end of my monitor (left or right) that I barely move inside the sim, because the monitor is so small.
Hello, this is up to your tracker sensitivity settings. I tested Tobii Eye Tracker 5 on an ultra-wide screen as well as on a 27 inch curved screen so exactly your setup. I haven't experienced any problems whatsoever.
@@rwyinsight completely wrong. In majority of cases you are so immersed while in VR, that even Medium details is much better experience than Ultra on monitor (2D). How can you explain then that I enjoy X-Plane 11 much more than MSFS and X-Plane 12?
@@rwyinsight of course it is, as everything in life. :) I'm just think you can't compare 2D flat picture with fake head movements, to stereoscopic 3D with natural depth perception, 1:1 scale and head movements. Also, can you look behind with TrackIR? Nope. :) But ok, some people can't stand something on their faces, and eyes can't adjust for some reason. I find VR amazing, so no 2D flying for me anymore, luckily.
