Two handy tricks for the 737NG and 737MAX when manually setting your bug to the approach speed - if the winds are calm enough that you're only doing the default 5kt additive, you can set the pink speed bug on top of the green reference speed on the speed tape and it'll be 5 kts. Even better - look at the speed listed for the leg to the runway on the LEGS page.

Ok, I always thought you bug it REF+5 but I guess I'm mistaken. So the Green REF on the speed tape already has the +5 added in?

@@CaptainChairbus Nope, it doesn't. But if you set the pink bug on top of the green REF speed, like you rest the pixels of the bottom line of the pink speed bug right above the topmost pixels of the green speed, that's 5 kts. But never mind all that - usually someone has the LEGS page up on their FMC, so the last speed listed on the LEGS page is also the approach ref that you'd bug.
