I only want SimBox for the FMC/MCDU and nothing else. Is it possible to do this? Also, what is the minimum iPad or Android device that will support the App. Mine will only update to 9.3.5 and will not support the app. Thanks
I think he may do a lite version in the future for only the fmc but not sure when . I would ask him on the discord link on their website he would be able to tell you the minimum version needed sorry i don't know that info .

Thanks for this. Very Interesting. I have been using a product called Sim Dashboard for quite a while to do a similar job. It was designed for Sim Racing but can be used for MSFS2020. You can design your own Dashboards or use community dashboards. Most dashboards are to display guages etc. but you can have action buttons as well. Designing is reasonably straightforwards, I use a dashboard I designed to change camera views. I can touch a button on my phone to perform just about all the various camera controls I need. I use it in conjunction with all my Saitek boxes

Very cool interaction with sim and concept. On the transponder screen, it highlighted the selector knob for standby, ident, etc. however the knobs to change your ident (1200) to your specified transponder code when flying IFR (3279 example) the knob you were changing the #’s on the swipe are was not highlighted. That could be confusing if you are trying to change the right 2 digits and you accidentally hit the left knob. Any general a Arlene’s as to what you have selected and are trying to change would be beneficial
Great instruction, thank you. I have a question regarding the Radio menu...I noticed the frequency numbers for COM1/2 & NAV, the last digit on the right side of the decimal is not on the same line as the rest of the number, this last digit was on a new line. Very disconcerting to read the numbers. Would you know if there is a way to adjust so that all 6 digits are on the same line? I watched the video in SimBox website, it showed all 6 digits on the same line! Cheers, Dix
What do I do if when I fly my friends can see me but I can’t see them. We tried to be in the same group and tried the same severs and it was still messed up
Ok yeah I have run into this before . In the world map . Select the flight conditions at the top right . Then in multi-player select "all players" not live if you both have all selected you it should work also make sure you are on the same server .

im not to sure but the simbox has been updated significantly since this video and now has g1000 panels and various fmcs for aircraft and still being updated.
Hi, currently not. It'll be possible thought. it'll still require additional PC - to fetch data from xbox and pass to client app. I'm still waiting for community feedback to see how many will wish for that
No it does not support the knobster . But I have a video coming out soon for the knobster using the knobfs application. Thanks for the comment 👍 😀 this is a great suggestion for the developer
Change the description it CANT be used on any tablet, i.e. iPad needs to be on IOS 13 so forget old iPad 4 or less many people may have older tablets but the simbox client app is OS dependant.
Thanks for the comment. It can't be used on all old tablets but it can on all newer tablets, as development progresses in technology the older software cannot run newer apps they requirements cannot be met by older OS.
Unfortunately this is mainly for monitor use . I also have the knobster and will be doing a video shorty on the knobster and the knobfs application for vr . It's pretty awesome
I can't find a way to contact simbox developer for help. my control app has disappeared & I can't find out to restore or re download. Anyone can help me? thanks
@@2020fsers Yeah, I was a fan of that when you posted the review a bit ago. Its a bit of the same idea though where I'd love a modular VR panel with a virtual slider/knob for such things. I like knobster and I like this pad functionality, but even in VR were I to have a flat panel with the same virtual sliders, that would be very useful. It could sit in my lap much the same way and alleviate some of the awkward interactions. If someone doesn't get to it, I'll code it myself ;)
From talking with the developer he is going to make this usable in vr through the toolbar icon so keep a look out for updates on this. I personally haven't heard from them since this video was released idk what up. I've sent 2 emails and no response so idk maybe went on vacation 😅
The fmc for the 737 and the fenix and fbw a320 are coming soon in an update . Also more features are getting added .this is still young in development so all the features and functions are not yet implemented i had a pop up stating this is a future update but is being worked on now that pic is from the developer working in the update. The goal here is to get feedback for the developer as to what you may want to see I the future . I
Hi! Just to clarify - due to nature of data exchange in FMC and MCDU - this will be another app. SimBox users will get huge discount thought. My goal is to make switching between this 2 apps as quick as possible.
@Flying Art love the the app, but the main thing is the MCDU. So is it best to wait until this is added and get it all in one? I think the price for Xplane and MSFS2020 was 29.00.
@@captainray9323 we need to remember that there is a lot of people who want MCDU only. So they should not pay for whole SimBox - because they'll not use that. I'll try my best to add it to SImBox too, but as I said - this may be hard from technical and performance point of view

Ok I just found out from the developer that the mcdu's will be in a separate application that will cost much less . Sorry for the miscommunication. I just posted a pinned comment to address the error In the video .
This also has fmc compatability now with several airliners and also the g1000 panels are getting reworked to be able to control both mfd and pfd screens .
