@@TimothyKingenglandexpat Hi Timothy & thanks. I would like to say yes. I think Microsoft and Asobo recognise the benifits of 'making' the sim run in a decent manner on mid spec PCs. It makes commercial sense as it widens the appeal to more PC users. Alot of people I'm sure are put off by seeing wonderful visuals, then when the use the sim have to dial the settings down to the lowest possible level to fly. It was one of tge things I really got annoyed about with my old PC when msfs 2020 was realesed. Let's hope this one runs well for all, I think better performance will be possible because a lot of the processing will be cloud based. Fingers crossed! Thanks again and take care. Cheers. GManfly.

Hello Andrew. Thanks and yes of course. I am running a Ryzen 9 5900X with 64 GB of RAM. I am very lucky to have just upgraded to a GTX 4090 GPU. As you can see there are a few stutters here and there but that is to be expected for a tech Alpha I guess. Hope the info helps and please do Subscribe so you don't miss out on future content. @@CessSim Definitely quicker to get up and running after the initial installation. Talking 70-80% quicker for me. Which is great. UI is very similar to 2020, though could do with a search function (there are a lot of menus sub menus). Don't like the zoom in and out effect when loading in, (feels gamey) but I guess they wanted something cool to watch while loading data. Control mapping, poor. Various reasons which I will talk about in Discord. Ground handling is excellent. as is flight. 👍Graphics, evolution not revolution. Light is more diffuse, colours are still a bit washed out for my money. Performance, my experience was really good. A few stutters here and there but far less than I was expecting. It's a bit like 2020 on steroids. I couldn't help think that this initially will be a about a performance boost, as the graphical improvements do not seem like a quantum leap. Except for lighting and aircraft modelling which is amazing. We will see, It is only an Alpha so it is hard to judge what the release will look like. If it works it will be stellar (in a year or so). 😁 It will be interesting to see what standard the release versions are like. You can tell this is a new sim, it just feels like there is a huge amount of technical wizardry going on somewhere. Hope that helps and catch you soon. Cheers.
